If I talk about overall review of ITM University, from a perspective of 4th year student of B.Com LLB (Hons.), I have a well-rounded experience along with some challenges. The university maintains some standards with the curriculum. School of Law offers a comprehensive curriculum with relevant specializations like corporate law. Moot courts, seminars and debate competitions are also being organized. No doubt professors are knowledgeable. School of law emphasizes over theoretical learning and sometimes overshadows practical exposures which are being improved year by year. ITM has 2 campuses; one is in Turari which is well structured and another one is un Sithouli which is average. School of law is in Sithouli campus. The location of the university is on the outskirts of Gwalior city near Sithouli railway station.

Academically, Law department maintains standards with curriculum. The range of elective courses offered by ITM University, School of Law includes: BA LLB (Hons.), B.Com LLB (Hons.), BBA LLB (Hons.), LLB and LLM. The entry in the college is based on your 12th marks. You just need to have 55% above marks in your 12th with any stream. If you take early bird admission, scholarship will be provided to you based on your 12th marks and if you score highest marks in the academic year.

The Law faculty at ITM University consists of professors with significant academic credentials and field experience. Many of them are professionals who have worked as lawyers in corporate firms or as consultants. This allows students to learn both theoretical aspects of law and its practical applications, making classroom discussions more insightful and relevant to current legal practices.

ITM University needs to improve the placements for Law students.

Yes, we have residential facilities available in our university. I have been the hostler at ITM University for 3 years. ITM has 5 hostels; 2 of them are for girls and 3 of them are for boys which is available in 2 as well as in 3 people occupancy. The price differs according to occupancy, AC is also available. No doubt hostel is very well furnished and has facilities like 24/7 power and washing machine service but the hostel food is quite average provided 4 times a day.

The infrastructure of university and Law department needs to be refurnished in order to increase its standard and bring it to the level of another branch. The facilities can also be enhanced along with bringing some Law department exclusive facilities. The University has well established transportation system of its own and public transports are also available easily because of its location near the railway station, so traveling won’t be an issue.

Campus life is interesting as many extracurricular activities take place in university like Celebrity Night, Concert, Unifies and DJ night take place on a yearly basis. The university has students from all over India and from outside India as well, distinct events and activities are organized on a regular basis. Annual functions, fresher’s parties and farewell are also organized every year. NCC and other clubs for students are also available.
