Review on the Motilal Nehru College

Overall Rating
This college is great as compared to other South campus colleges. The crowd and faculties are very good; you will get that DU feeling. Though the infrastructure is adequate, but it is improving over time. Placements are mediocre, so do keep in mind you might have to try for off campus placements.
 

Academics Rating
The B.Com (Hons.) course curriculum is great. You'll learn a wide range of topics ranging from Advertising, Marketing, Finance, HR and Economics. You'll get to experience all the domains. You can further pursue a professional course alongside as CA, CFA or any other as per your choice while also managing your attendance.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are very supportive and kind. Some of them are strict, so you have to coordinate with them on regular basis. But overall, they are great. Assignments and tests are conducted every semester. Most teachers do class discussions, while others follow the traditional teaching methods of using the class board and books to teach. Class engagement is maintained, so that a positive point.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell is active but you won’t get top notch opportunities. So you might have to try for off campus placements as well.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is mediocre as of now. You won’t get the top notch North campus infrastructure. The classes are small and the buildings are not so great. However, the campus is large and spread out. The college canteen is great to hang out at and relax. MLNC has one of Delhi’s biggest libraries. There is a huge ground and a newly built basketball court.
 

Campus Rating
The college campus life is the best part about MLNC. You will get that typical DU college life. Fests are organized annually. The societies conduct competitions and various engaging activities are held regularly. You will always find the college campus hustling and bustling, as it is very active. The crowd is great, as many students come from different parts of India. So you will learn to interact and mix up with people from different regions.

    My overall experience in Motilal Nehru College is quite good. It gives me opportunities to nurture my abilities. There are not specific factors for me to choose this institution but I got this institution through CUET exam and after coming here I have experienced good college life with one of the best library, canteen, and other campus facilities.     As a first year student, I can say that my experience till now has been excellent. The management makes sure resolve issues raised by students as soon as possible. The teachers, students, and seniors all are very friendly. In addition, view at the entrance is very beautiful as you can see fountain very attractive to see. Infrastructure of classes, canteen, and ground is very good. Computer classes are great. Water and washroom are in good condition. Canteen food is very affordable.... Read Full Review

    The overall experience is average. College life didn't meet my expectations. We have got the best food in the canteen. Honesty I have eaten in almost all institutions, and I must say we have the best food, prices, taste, and quality. The library is very good, full of books and other stuff.     Moti Lal Nehru College is under Delhi University. Overall college is good and is located in South campus. College is safe and secure there is evening shift also. There are separate library offices. You'll get all type of facilities regarding sports as well here. There is computer lab, chemistry lab, etc. It has beautiful canteen area and some parks with beautiful flowers. Professor is nice and helpful. Campus life is best and beautiful.     MLNC is located at Benito Juarez Marg, South Campus and the nearest metro station is Durgabai Deshmukh. It is one of the best colleges in the South campus of Delhi University especially for the students of commerce background. The college has good placements records and has finest faculties.
