Sreenidhi University B.Tech Review By Dharanidhara

I wanted to pursue Bachelor of Computer Science and due to COVID outbreak, I didn't feel like going out of station to pursue my education. Sreenidhi University remains among top 10 colleges in Hyderabad consistently and its alumni and academic achievements made me choose this college. I would say that the college is pretty average for what it has to offer.

The course curriculum is pretty outdated. They do not focus on the current technologies. They do not focus on the current market trends and only a few Faculties teach properly, and they do not provide any scholarships, instead, they even collect the next year's fee even before the completion of the current year.

Only few good faculty members are available and rest of them does not have much interest in teaching. Even though they are all "Qualified" according to the university norm. The teaching style of most of the faculty members is not very interesting and engaging.

Placement opportunities are fine, but Sreenidhi University does not focus on Summer Internships. Mostly the package is between 6-15 LPA. College should focus on improving the technical and coding skills of people.

There is a hostel called Nidhi Hostel, it is located outside the campus. The food provided in the hostel is not up to the mark. I can see some improvements in recent times. Nidhi hostel costs 1 lakh rupees a year. PGs and hostels are also available nearby.

The labs are good mostly for CSE students and only the new blocks are well maintained and good. Here different games are played on a single ground. There are a very limited number of clubs in the college.

Two fests are organised every year named as Adastra and Sreevision. The library has a decent number of books, and we can even request new books and they will provide them. All the clubs are managed by students itself, under the guidance of several faculty members.
