Amity University Mumbai campus is very big and happening

The fees structure of Amity University Mumbai is really good compared to other colleges in Mumbai. It can be an easy travel for students because the college provides bus services from Panvel station to Amity. The campus is very big and has 4 canteens. It also provides hostel in the campus. Events are held every year and with a big bang. You can participate in these events, games, cultural programs, etc. and showcase your talents. College placement is also available.

I'm from an interior design course in Amity and my overall experience is average. You need to submit your 12th Marksheet and other documents, if you score well above 90%. You get scholarship in every semester and the fees you pay get reduced from the actual amount due to scholarship. If you just like painting and drawing, do not enroll because this course is much more than just painting and drawing, it's really very difficult and calculating. There are 8 semesters i.e. it is a 4 year course, as you progress in your semesters you'll understand and learn new things and come across every minute detail. You'll have to study very hard in this course; it's not easy as it looks. Lot of assignments, market survey, presentations, and at the end jury takes place, sleepless nights and days are incoming if you choose this course. Attendance is very important, you won't be able to give your exams if you have low attendance and you will have to re-exam in the next semester.

Almost all the faculty in this department is old or middle aged because all of them are experienced. Some of the faculties do teach well and some of them are okay. You need to complete all your work to be in their good books. The faculty changes as your semester progresses, and better faculty is chosen for higher semesters. Only some of the faculties are understanding. Every faculty has their own way of teaching.

Yes, we do have placement cell at Amity University Mumbai and many of the seniors have applied and got it.

Yes, we do have hostel facility inside the college premises, the hostel is different for boys and girls, and there are 2 types of hostel, one is Non-AC and another is AC. the fee charges differ for both. AC room charges a bit more. It is a 6 people dorm with 3 rooms and 2 students in each room with one bathroom and toilet. The rooms are spacious for at least 2 people. It contains one bed with mattress and one wardrobe and a study table. Cleaning and laundry facilities are provided by the hostel. Food is provided in the canteen; you can apply for mess. There is water facility 24/7.

The college campus is very big with big gardens and playgrounds. It also has Kabbadi ground, cricket ground, and tennis & badminton court. It also has a big auditorium with a big atrium where all the exhibitions, functions, and fests take place. There are total 5 buildings including the hostel. The main buildings have separate departments on different floors. There is a separate building for architecture department. There are 4 canteens with different cuisines.

The campus is big with many students from different places in India. You get to meet new people and make new friends from the other places of India. The crowd is good. The fests take place every year with a band and the fun part is it is all organised by the students themselves. There are committee members for each kind of fests. You can participate and volunteer in any kind of fests and games. There are sports in which you can enroll. Intercollegiate competitions are also organised.
