In IIIT Bhopal minimum 75% attendance is needed

This is among the newest IIITs. It is a good institute. As it currently in MANIT Bhopal, students get benefits like fests, sports activities, exhibitions, etc. Placements of this college are better than other IIITs. The coding culture is quite good and progression takes place year by year.

ECE, IT and CSE branches are available in IIITs. So if you are interested in technology, then IIIT Bhopal would be the best choice. The curriculum is updated compare other IITs and NITs; you don't have to study chemistry in your first year. There is a 75% attendance criterion that you must maintain, so you have to manage that.

The faculties are good; but you may find a few rude faculties. In colleges and institutes you can’t completely reply on faculties; you have to do some things on your own. If you want a good CGPA, you should have good connection with your faculty. Some faculties are very supportive and are ready to help you beyond the class hours.

You can see the placement stats on their website. Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Commvault, Paypal, Tekion, GEP, Nvidia, MAQ etc. are the top MNCs that have visited the campus. If you are in ECE, you may find yourself in tech roles as companies usually come for SDE roles. There are fewer opportunities for internships.

Hostels are available for 1st year students only. One is in NITTTR, while the other is in RGPV. The rooms are quite small; only two beds can be adjusted in a room. There is not enough space for a study table to be fitted in the room. NITTTR is 5 km and RGPV is 20 km away from the institute. But buses are available for transportation. You have to rent a flat or a PG near the college after 1st year.

Currently we are using MANIT Bhopal’s infrastructure. The classes are conducted in the NTB building. But don't expect much in terms of the infrastructure. You can use the MANIT sports complex, grounds, etc. You will not face any difficulty with basic needs. 100 acres of land is allotted to the college. Maybe the campus will be ready by 2029.

The campus life is just average. There are various clubs like Aarzoo (cultural club), Codame (coding club), GDSC (development club), etc. We are having our own fest named as “Niimack”. You can also enjoy all MANIT Bhopal’s fest; there are no restrictions. Various small and large events take place here.
