Overall Rating
Shivaji College, being a part of Delhi University, is a popular college among its off-campus colleges. Although it is not situated in the main campus of Delhi University, it comprises of the same curricular and the rules and regulations as that of the campus. My personal experience with this college has been really good. The professors here are so understanding and professional at the same time. This college provides you with one of the biggest sports complexes in the entire Delhi University. The societies in the college are pretty active too, representing diversities.

Academics Rating
This college provides you with a range of courses and covers a majority of them. The courses align with the curriculum which is circulated and practiced in the entire Delhi University. The NEP focuses on the practicality of the courses. Academic excellence depends on student to student. The curriculum involves theory as well as practical classes. It is designed in such a way that the student focuses more on learning and the addition of various additional subjects aims to make the students at par with the skills that they themselves choose to learn.

Faculty Rating
I have an offline experience of the classes here in Shivaji College. The professors are well equipped with the knowledge and skills. The professors that I have encountered are very kind and understanding as well. As a student, I did not find any problem in connecting with the professors. The faculties as a whole are quite supportive. The principal here as well is quite open to interact with the students. There are a lot of competitions organized in the college societies which are mainly headed by the college professors, thus the feeling of familiarity makes it easier to connect with them.

Placement Rating
Shivaji College Delhi has its very active and functioning placement cell that makes sure to facilitate the best internships and placements for the recruitment of its students. A special group of students work around to get the updates for the internships to the students in various domains like finance, business, administration, management, business development, technology, human resource, etc. The highest package of Shivaji College has been 22 LPA, whereas the average package has been around 4 to 4.5 LPA.

Hostel Rating
The college itself does not have a facility of hostel. Although there are a lot of PG facilities available in the vicinity near college.

Infrastructure Rating
The college comprises of the old and the new buildings. The infrastructure of the college is decent. The new building is equipped with slightly more amenities than the old building. There are 4 fully equipped auditoriums in the college with the gardens fulfilling the need for greenery in the college. The college is also equipped with one of the biggest sports complexes in the entire Delhi University.

Campus Rating
The crowd here is a mix of people. There are a lot of active societies which keep the college atmosphere quite lively. The annual fest Vibrations is one the most famous cultural fest in the Delhi University. The Alumni Relations Cell and the TedX society of the college is yet another diversity that can be seen.

College is very average but the overall experience is fine as you will get to experience different things. Societies, elections, fests, events and more are all balanced out with academics. Faculty is good but there aren't any placements as such so opt for it only if you are thinking for masters or higher studies.... Read Full Review

  • Life being a Learner in Shivaji College

    Overall Rating
Honestly, I had my doubts while choosing this college but after being to various colleges of DU, I realized how my college was much better in almost everything i.e., infrastructure, crowd, faculty, location, etc. Hence, I am not ready to trade off this satisfaction. My college has the largest library and the sports complex. Its infrastructure is well maintained. The location unlike any other college is easy to reach and has access to the OG Rajouri Garden area where you can try places like Barbe... Read Full Review
