My honest review for HIMS

Overall Rating
Hind Institute of Medical Science is one of the best renowned institutes with excellent academic record. College is known for its best academic culture and legacy of this college is unmatchable. Cutoff of this college is exceptionally high due to its low fees as compare to other similar institutions. One thing that always fascinates me to take admission in this college is good alumni and highly experienced staff that is always ready to help students.
 

Academics Rating
One has to secure minimum of 50% mark in 12th board examination to be eligible to take admission in this college and also has to appear for NEET-UG examination and secure good marks in it to grab a seat in this college. Course is 4.5 years long and at last 1 year of internship is compulsory. One thing to keep in mind is that to be eligible for internship you should not have any backlog in any subject. Motive is crystal clear that I want to pursue MBBS.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculty members are achievers in their field of interest and have good command over their respective subjects. Faculty members not only focus on theoretical learning but also emphasis on practical study. Also good level of training is provided in the OPD and emergency ward to students so that they can handle patients effectively.
 

Placement Rating
No, we don't have placement cell.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facility is available in the institute. Usually two seater hostels are available with attached washroom and balcony. Fees of hostel are Rs.150000 per year. Mess is decent and provides three meals a day to all the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is decent here. Labs are there in good condition with various equipment. Library is well-furnished and has all the books for medicine and surgery related content. Academic blocks are typically old type and have class capacity of 100 students. Sports facilities are available to the students like badminton court, table tennis and cricket ground.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is really cool and crowd is very energetic. Annual fest named RYTHYM is held every year and all the students enjoy with their peer group. Various clubs are there in the institute like Poetry club and Editor's club in which students are engaging actively. Sport activities are held every year in which college students represent our college and take part to win the best college cup. Overall the campus is full of greenery.

    Institute is good for study MBBS. Patient flow of the hospital is very good, quality of treatment is good, and faculties of the college are from prestigious colleges.     I completed my MBBS in 2024. Overall, this Institute is best among all the other northeast Institutes with minimal fees.
