My Journey at SRMCEM

Overall Rating
Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management (SRMCEM) in Lucknow has been a fantastic experience for me. The campus facilities are excellent and the teachers are really helpful and knowledgeable. What impressed me most are the placement opportunities – big companies regularly visit for hiring. To get in, I focused on doing well in exams like UPSEE and prepared for group discussions and interviews. It's been a rewarding journey, thanks to the preparation and support from SRMCEM.
 

Academics Rating
The course I opted was Computer Science and it has a decent role and application in real life and it's easy to get a placement in this respective field. The basic eligibility of this course was a minimum of 60% marks in class 12th and the cut off for general category was near about 5-6 lakh and it is a decent college situated in Lucknow and it has good placement. They have a strict environment of exams and practical. UP Government also provide scholarship to the students.
 

Faculty Rating
All courses have different course coordinators. Your attendance is registered on portals, which require 75 percent attendance. Every week, there is a quiz decided by the course coordinator. All students have to obtain a minimum of ten marks out of thirteen. They support you in every phase of study. As they are well trained professors in their own subjects. They also focus on offering practical knowledge to the students.
 

Placement Rating
They provide an average CTC of 3 LPA and they provide pre placement training also for gaining experience. Internship is also provided for industrial knowledge. Highest package was 9 LPA in this session and it will be more in upcoming days.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The library was top notch, they had a vast collection of books along with good management, but the course related labs had poor and insufficient equipments. Hostel infrastructure is too much good. It offers food and accommodation both. The room is singly occupied. In hostel rooms there are AC, refrigerator, almirah and the double bed which is too good for sleeping purpose that's all about hostel fee structure and last the food quality of hostel is like the hotel quality.
 

Campus Rating
The overall experience is good and they have various other things like gym, library and clubs for different activities. There are also social and technical group for better participation of students. There are groups for dancing, singing, drama and tech. The infrastructure is not much better but you can enjoy your college. There are so many clubs like technical, non technical and cultural in which you can participate. In addition to this, a lot of inter college competitions are also organised here.

  • My experiences at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management

    I chose this course because I am highly interested in programming and the tech sector. The faculty here is also good. They guide you from making notes to giving exams. There are 7-8 faculty members in this department and the students per semester are 60-65. The teaching method is based on how the students understand the topic.
