My experiences at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management

Overall Rating
I chose this course because I am highly interested in programming and the tech sector. The faculty here is also good. They guide you from making notes to giving exams. There are 7-8 faculty members in this department and the students per semester are 60-65. The teaching method is based on how the students understand the topic. The semester exams are held twice a year one in December and the other in May. If you have studied then the exams are easy to pass also there is an internal assessment system too so you have to work hard in college assessments too.
 

Academics Rating
Eligibility of the course is 12th pass and student should have completed his 12th from a government supported board and he/she must have opted PCM in 12th standard. The application process is very easy and smooth. There are quiz’s held every week. The difficulty level of the exams here can be said to be in between medium and difficult.
 

Faculty Rating
Each faculty member is very much qualified and they listen to your problems and interact with you in a very friendly manner. But there are some of them who are quite strict. The faculty members have great knowledge about the subjects they are teaching.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is good but only for some courses, overall placement is average. Many companies visit the college for offering placement opportunities to the students. Companies like TCS, Whisper, Amazon, HCL, and many more visit here.
 

Hostel Rating
I am a day-scholar. So, I don't have much idea about the hostel facilities which are been provided in the university hostel. The hostel facilities seem to be good. It can accommodate around 500-800 students in total.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Many classrooms lack AC, making it hard for students to concentrate, especially in hot weather. Certain courses like BBA and BCA have some air-conditioned classrooms, but this is not consistent, leading to an uneven learning environment. There is no Wi-Fi, computer labs, or Microsoft Windows. There is only Ubuntu, which is of no use. The buildings here are also not very well maintained.
 

Campus Rating
Many events are conducted here like Abhivyakti, Gantavya, and Spardha, which are organised every year on our campus. There are many clubs for students, and they all are student-driven. The library is very big and almost all the books are available in the library and it is air-conditioned. The classrooms are very spacious and the benches are big. There are many sports teams too. Computer systems and printing facilities are also available in the library.

    Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management (SRMCEM) in Lucknow has been a fantastic experience for me. The campus facilities are excellent and the teachers are really helpful and knowledgeable. What impressed me most are the placement opportunities – big companies regularly visit for hiring.
