My views on Gauhati University

Overall Rating
Overall the college was average and I faced several issues during admission. But the good thing was that the seniors are extremely helpful and cooperative which made thing a bit easier for me.
 

Academics Rating
For getting admission first you have to register in the website and apply for the entrance exam, if your rank is good enough then only you’ll get an admission. But, since it’s a government college so the admission process is also not that simple. You have to submit the anti ragging affidavit then application form is a must also with other certificates.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members for several Honors subjects including Criminal Law are not available here, but overall the faculty members are great. Also there are some professors who even provide notes and are very helpful.
 

Placement Rating
So far I haven’t heard of any such placement cell or anything but the college offer you endless opportunities to develop your skills my giving you a plenty of chances to participate in various competitions.
 

Hostel Rating
I am not a hosteller so I don’t have any idea about it.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The overall infrastructure of the college is amazing. It’s extravagant and amazing. You will be fascinated by the infrastructure. There is also a library with a large number of books on various topics are available. I would suggest other students to take admission in this university.
 

Campus Rating
There are many cafés and restaurants nearby so you can go with your friends and chill there. Even within the campus itself there are a number of canteens which is quite fun. Even the students from other departments will also inspire you for doing new things.

    I am writing this based on what I have experience by being in this college. The college staffs are really friendly and helpful, whenever you need help regarding anything they always come forward and help you with your doubts.     Overall Rating
    Basically I joined botany department of North east's top university because of my keen interest in the subject. The selection is based on the GUPGET entrance test. After clearing the exam I got admission in 2021 for a two year course program. The university provides a good ambience as compared to other colleges of North East.
