Review on Dibrugarh University

Overall Rating
Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology has four branches in B.Tech i.e. Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. I have graduated in Petroleum Engineering. It’s the only institute in Northeast having B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering.
 

Academics Rating
B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering can help you to start a career in oil and gas industry. Many join this course because there is a lot of money in it. But the reality is it’s very hard to get a job. Entry is based on the marks you have scored on JEE or CEE. Having higher marks will get you a seat. One should enroll in this course if he really wants to join the oil industry. Also establish good connection with the faculty and join the SPE Student chapter to stay up-to-date.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of Petroleum Engineering branch is helpful. They are experienced in teaching as well as they have done jobs in the oil industry. They share this experience which helps a lot to gain knowledge about the oil industry. Their style of teaching is simple and one can learn quickly from them.
 

Placement Rating
This year placement was good as Companies like Schlumberger, HLS Asian, Halliburton, etc. visited the campus. Average 5-8 students get placed every year.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facilities are good. You will get free Wi-Fi. Food is adequate.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the institute is well designed and innovated. The roads are good. The institute has separate building for each branch and each branch in equipped with well designed laboratories. Also there a six canteen within the campus. There is stand for bicycle in every department. There is a temple inside the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is enjoyable. An average of 2 fests per month will be there. Also on can enjoy games like football, cricket, badminton, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, lawn tennis, etc. Also there is night playing facility. Within the campus there is a park where one can go for refreshment. Shops for essential things are also present in the campus.

    Overall, I had an outstanding experience at Dibrugarh University. I am truly thinking everyone could benefit from trying it. Everything about it is above average, including the campus, internship possibilities, amenities, and placement. The surroundings are highly effective as well.     Dibrugarh University is a renowned university in Assam as well as in India. There are many colleges under Dibrugarh University. It also allows students from different countries to pursue education in the university.
