My Thoughts on Dibrugarh University

Overall Rating
The faculties in Dibrugarh University are partially good. Well if we talk about competition, the students here are very competitive and opt for various kinds of activities. There are various social clubs for the students to interact with and to open up and learn new things. I am currently in google developers group, which made me learn various new, and tech related topics.
 

Academics Rating
The professors are well educated and provides us with all the useful materials for exams. They are partially good at teaching. The fee for the course is quite high. It changes every semester. There are labs for each subject. If we opt for this course then the entry requirement is either through CEE marks or JEE percentile and also a minimum of 75% in PCM in HS. There are 3 counselling for this course. The motive for enrolling in this program to have BTech degree in computer science engineering so that I can apply in various companies with a good CGPA.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are quite okay. They try their best to communicate with us. It helps us a lot to communicate and boost our confidence. Most of the faculty members are from engineering backgrounds and some of them have done PhD in various technical courses. Their style of teaching is very professional.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell at our university. I am a placement and training coordinator and attend the meeting and according to my experience and understanding, the placement cell is trying their best to help the students acquire jobs in the industry. The placements are average. The packages are like 2 to 3 LPA, which is not quite enough for the students. The cell mails the companies to come and take the interviews and tests for placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facilities in Dibrugarh University. There are hostels for both boys and girls. The infrastructure is great. The facilities here in hostel are quite the pick. The mess food is okay. The hostel fee is also pretty decent. Our university’s hostel life really nice. Cleaners come daily and security guards are always on duty. There is in-time in hostel too, which makes it safe.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our university’s infrastructure is very good. The library is at the centre of our campus. It is very well equipped and well maintained. The roads are good. There are canteens and it is very hygienic. The department buildings have all sorts of facilities and they are well maintained too. The administrative building is quite large and nice. There is a Punjab National Bank in the campus along with 2 ATMs. there are bus stops as well as basketball court, volleyball court, GYM, park, university auditorium, indoor stadium, tennis court, etc.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is quite awesome and it is really exciting living in here. When there is cultural night, it is so exciting and fun. There are fests every year, which helps us, socialize a lot, and we learn new activities. There is dance, drama, and even cycling club. I am in art club right now and it is so fun and exciting. Seminars are held twice a semester.

    Overall, I had an outstanding experience at Dibrugarh University. I am truly thinking everyone could benefit from trying it. Everything about it is above average, including the campus, internship possibilities, amenities, and placement. The surroundings are highly effective as well.     Dibrugarh University is a renowned university in Assam as well as in India. There are many colleges under Dibrugarh University. It also allows students from different countries to pursue education in the university. Its placements are great in B.Tech for branches like Computer Science & Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering along with the other courses like BCA and MCA, which made me choose this university....
