MNLU Aurangabad is a budding university among what are considered as the tier three National Law Schools. The climate of this city is pleasant. The teachers are seldom helpful. The crowd of this university majorly consists of students from Maharashtra and the same is with the case of teachers. Moot courts and debates are not encouraged, but groups of students participate in it regularly. The administration is an issue to deal with for students as proper water facilities are not provided in the hostel and the mess contract keeps on changing. Therefore, people have a subjective opinion on that. Some faculties are great at teaching while others just do not make sense to anyone. All in all, if you have no other option and desperately want an NLU; you are welcome here.

There are two courses offered here. One is Bachelor of Arts along with the LLB degree and the other is Bachelor of Business Administration along with the LLB degree. If you have a rank between 1500 -3000, it's feasible to get admission in the General category. There other reservation criteria for admission which can be looked up on the university’s website. There's no age limit for appearing in CLAT.

A majority of the teachers in MNLU Aurangabad are from Maharashtra and a few of them are from other states as well. Some of the faculties are quite exceptional with doctorate degrees, where as others are still pursuing the same. Their style of teaching differs from person to person but can be termed as overall satisfactory.

There is indeed a placement committee which is formed every year. It includes some faculties and majorly 4th and 5th year students who work very hard for placements. It's only on the individual’s merit and hard work that will enable them to find a job. Until now, it was only through personal work that people secured placements by contact building and hard work during internships.

Initially, the hostel was designed for one person per room. But boys and girls have to share a single hostel with a slight demarcation of a wall in between which is not at all feasible to live in, given the size of the room is very small. People have to adjust with roommates. The size of the cupboard is very small too. There is no gym for girls, but there is a lavish one for boys. There are no recreational activities in the hostel or the campus.

As of now, there's only one building having two floors. It has the finance department, administration department, office for all the professors, Vice Chancellor office, Registrar office, Deputy to the Registrar office, Deputy Administration office, etc. It also has the Dean’s office and classrooms for academic purposes. The same building has an office for CPGLS, research and development, staff rooms, academic office and the examination department.

The college life it not so interesting. As the city does not have any fun activities or a good crowd, people seldom go out. But there are some good places to visit on the weekends like the Ajanta Caves, Ellora Caves, Daulatabad Fort and the Grishneshwar temple. One can always visit Nashik, Lonavala as well as Mahabaleshwar which is quite close. Even Pune is at a distance of 5 hours. But there's always an issue for obtaining an out pass, especially for girls.
