Progressing Infrastructure at MNLU Aurangabad

Overall Rating
I chose MNLU Aurangabad because I firmly believe that a National Law University is more prestigious than any other private Institutions as they teach more discipline and groundwork comparatively and as per my experience so far, all these assumptions have been true. Secondly, the location is also very approachable; it is well connected to the city and is easier for an overall quality experience.
 

Academics Rating
I am in B.A.LL.B (Hons.) third year currently, I chose this course because I had an arts background and was really passionate about public policy, sociology and law altogether. The course and curriculum are also very comprehensive. Exams take place twice every semester, the mid-terms and the end terms, the syllabus for these is also rigorous. additionally, a Moot Court competition is held internally every year.
The first-year tuition fee is around Rs. 1,40,000/- with further total tuition fees of Rs. 6,98.000/-. The mess fee per semester is Rs. 16,124/- which is optional to choose.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is well qualified and interactive; most of them are from Maharashtra only. Some teachers are very polite and helping while others needs improvement in being welcoming towards students. They mostly teach through their self-made materials which are also shared with us.
 

Placement Rating
There is an active Internship and Placement Cell (IPC) comprising of faculty as well as student members who keeps us updated regarding any upcoming internship opportunities. As per last batch, the highest package was around 7 LPA. This aspect is in a need of improvement in the upcoming future.
 

Hostel Rating
MNLU Aurangabad has separate hostels for boys and girls with a common mess building. The hostels are very near to the Campus building which makes it easy to attend classes in the morning. The hostels are newly built and are very huge so can accommodate a lot of students plus they are of five floors each with 2 working elevators. As they are new, the rooms, washrooms and furniture is very clean and of good quality. The curfew times are different for girls and boys.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Currently apart from the hostel, the Campus has only one function building which is the Centre of Excellence Building which comprises of all the classrooms, seminar halls, library, and Moot court hall. The separate buildings for seminar halls, and library are under construction and developing at a fast pace. The classrooms are good quality with the capacity of 60 students each with smart boards. There isn't permanently a sports complex as of now, but the temporary football and volleyball grounds are besides the hostels, and a separate ground is rented during the intra sports event every even semester.
 

Campus Rating
The crowd is a majority of Maharashtrian individuals. The University focuses more on academics rather than fests. The few flagship events that are organised are national competitions such as the National Youth Parliament, National Client Counselling and National Moot Court. The internal centres run by the student body organize events and celebrate each festival by collecting funds from the students and faculty. Additionally, a Moot Court competition is held internally every year.

    It is a decent university in terms of education and other facilities provided. Being an NLU, the university will give you various perks. It is in a developing phase as of December 2024 but in a few years, most of the infrastructure will be ready.     MNLU Aurangabad is a budding university among what are considered as the tier three National Law Schools. The climate of this city is pleasant. The teachers are seldom helpful. The crowd of this university majorly consists of students from Maharashtra and the same is with the case of teachers.
