My Views on Sree Vidyanikethan College of Pharmacy

Overall Rating
SVCP has a beautiful infrastructure and some excellent professors who are very experienced in their field. They will train us to develop soft skills as well as conduct various seminars and webinars to update us about new innovations in pharmacy. This college is graded A+ in academics. It has a serene atmosphere to study and focus on career building.
 

Academics Rating
It is 6 years course. We are taught in the college for 4 years and the next 2 years doing hospital postings and projects. To enter into this course you should have good rank, below 5000 in EAMCET. You should apply to this college in counseling if not in the 1st round; you will get it in the second round of counseling. I wanted to become a clinical SAS programmer or junior scientist. This is the reason I joined SVCP.
 

Faculty Rating
The professors take classes in the digital classrooms. They are highly skilled and have great experience. Some even studied in Stanford University and have taught in various colleges. They interact with us and answer our doubts very clearly. They help us in selecting the right career and guide us in the right path.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell where we can apply for jobs. Placements are good and we get recruited in top companies with good package. They also invite various companies to take us as interns. Some students are placed in Accenture and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories as clinical pharmacists.
 

Hostel Rating
We have 2 hostels; one is the main hostel which is a bit expensive. It costs Rs. 1,50,000. The fee structure for PGs ranges from Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 90,000. The food is good. There is a playground for playing various sports. The rooms are clean and very spacious. As we walk around the hostel it is filled with breathtaking visuals of greenery.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have a digital library where we have access of various journals and a centralised library that has many books. We have a separate pharmacy block with spacious rooms. Wi-Fi connection is available for seminars. We have a medicinal garden where lots of plants having good properties are displayed for reference. We visit the garden for some fun activities.
 

Campus Rating
I loved joining this college. It is very good for academics and has a great infrastructure. It offers good facilities for career development and further studies. They conduct the Mohan Mantra every year and the annual day fest where we can enjoy ourselves at the concert. We have various clubs like the innovation club and cosmetics club which we can actively participate in and enhance our knowledge.
