My experience at Travancore Medical College

Overall Rating
The college has great infrastructure and a well equipped library. each batch has almost 150 students. Final year is purely for internship and this is when the students learn how to deal with real world problems first hand. The college provides a good hostel for both the boys and the girls which are kept clean.
 

Academics Rating
The college is approved by Kerala University of Health and Sciences (KUHAS). The course curriculum is very relevant. The exams are held on yearly basis and the faculty present here are qualified and teach with quality. You start to visit the hospital by the 2nd year itself up until the final year.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty consists of practicing doctors and qualified teachers who are well versed in their subjects and open to consult. They are easily accessible in and around the campus and can be consulted anytime to clear doubts. The styles of teaching of the teachers are good enough to keep up.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel infrastructure is also pretty good and is kept clean. The hostel is available for both girls and boys.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college campus has a good infrastructure and the classes are pretty big and equipped with projectors and seats to accommodate the students with ease. The college has different blocks for Dental, Nursing and MBBS.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good, many events take place every few months and there are plenty of clubs for the students to join depending on their interest. Some of the clubs are the literary club, movie club, etc. Many events take place in the college where all the students participate together and have fun.
