The Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology is also known as a SCET College. SCET is the well known and reputed college of the Surat city. The college has almost all the branches of engineering. All the branches have well and top educated faculties who are very supportive and helpful for the students. But they are serious for the education and career of the students. They always motivate student to grow in the career.

The Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology provides almost all the courses of BE / B.Tech like Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc. with all the latest facilities and technologies. If someone wants to get admission at the SCET in BE / B.Tech Engineering then there are multiple ways to get an admission in the college. After 12th Science (with Math), a student can get admission in the college easily through the admission community of Gujarat called ACPC. Also, students who have done Diploma after 10th can also get admission in this engineering college. The fee structure of the college is Rs.128000 for 1 year of Engineering. The course is of 4 years duration. According to me the fees is little more than other colleges but to be honest it is value for money to get admission in this college.

The faculties of the SCET College are all highly educated. Mostly here all the faculties of the Department are Ph.D holders that show the knowledge and the hard work of them. I am pre final year student of Information Technology department, according to me, my department's faculty members are the best faculties of my life. They have a very supportive nature. The teaching style of them is very unique. So I can guarantee you as student of this college that faculties will be very helpful and they will be with us for a lifelong.

As per my experience and advise from my seniors, every year well known companies like JIO, TCS, Morgan, Infosys, Bajaj, Adani, etc. and different local area companies visit in campus during placement drive and hire a bulk amount of skilled and talented engineers for their companies. There is an active and very big placement cell available in our college and they really help out the students to get job. Placement cell also provides the internships to the pre final year or final year students to get the real experience of the industry.

College campus also provides the hostel facility for the outside students who want to get admission in the college. There are 2 hostels for the boys and girls individually. Facilities of the hostel are very best. Hostel has also the mess that serves students very healthy and fresh food always. They provides the Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks (evening), and Dinner every day. It is included in the hostel fees itself. So overall the Hostel facility is good for the outsiders of Surat.

In the SCET College there are many departments in campus itself and every department is in specific building and some of them having different blocks. The infrastructure of the college is very beautiful. It is the most beautiful college which I have seen in Surat. The Architecture department is the very special department of the college because it is a very beautiful block or section of college. There is a Big dome in the center of the college where all the students gather for lunch.

The campus life of the college is best because it provides all type of facilities and activities for the students. The Students of every department are very humble with each other and all have helping nature towards each other. Every month at the end some kind of activity or program is held in the college for student engagement. There is decent crowd so don’t worry about the friendships. There are different clubs in the college for students. Different activities are regularly held by these clubs for increasing the knowledge of the students. So overall the campus and the life of the student are very interesting in the college.
