Overall Rating
The Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata is good Institution. Despite the fact that the rules are strict, you also get many amazing stuffs like wonderful events, sports facilities like Badminton, Cricket, Basketball, etc. Teachers are supportive and understanding.

Academics Rating
I am pursuing my B.Tech In Information Technology (IT) from here because of the placement ratio for an IT student is good here. For admission in my Institute, students have to go through IEMJEE exam & score good rank in the same. In every semester, there are 2 mid semester exams and one end-semester exams along with lab exams.
When I joined the Institute, per semester fee is Rs. 85,000/-. There is an increment of Rs. 15,000/- after the end of each academic year so now it is around Rs. 1,15,000/-.

Faculty Rating
Most of the facilities are good. Most of the faculty members have done their Ph.Ds before joining as a teacher. Teacher to student can be improved though.

Placement Rating
Placements of my Institute are average, and I would rather be honest about that. Most of the offers come from mass hiring companies & my Institute also tries to bring some companies with high packages too. Therefore, the packages are modest and standard. If you are consistent and prepare well, you will likely land a job.

Hostel Rating
The Institute provides hostel facilities to outstation students.

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure at IEM kolkata is decent. Classrooms are reasonably spacious and most of them have projectors, while labs are functional, though some equipments feels dated. The library is peaceful and useful during exams. The canteen does it jobs very effectively.

Campus Rating
My campus life has been a decent mix of learning, fun, and personal growth. The Institute provides a good environment to explore extracurricular activities. I have enjoyed spending time with friends, participating in events, and working on different projects. The faculty members are generally supportive, and there are plenty of opportunities to improve my skills.
