The college is quite good. The faculties at the college are knowledgeable and helpful. Garware stands as the third best college for arts in Pune. I got the college at 88.00% in 12th. I Don't regret the decision of choosing AGC as my college. The campus is well and good . It has a huge ground with various sports and gym facilities available. The college has its own active art circle which participates in different intercollegiate competitions. Overall there is a nurturing environment for students.

Currently, I am pursuing Bachelor of Arts Psychology in Abasaheb Garware College of Arts and Science. To be precise with the course details I must provide you with the following information. The college is now shifting to autonomous governance. The Pune University has started to lose its control over the college as the pattern of examination has shifted to 50: 50. It means internal examination is made by the college for 50 marks and external examination that is semester end examination is conducted by the university for rest of the 50 marks. The college has English as well as Marathi medium facility where we could pursue Arts and Science. The college has good image in the market but it does not stand up to the goodwill. The entry requirement for Garware College of Arts and Science is score of 12th boards. There is no group discussion round or PI. The candidate applying for the college is obligated to fill of form after the 12th result. The form is available on the college website. Anybody with 60% or above could easily get it to Garware.

The faculty members in the college are quite knowledgeable and helpful as I have mentioned above but the complaints are the concern. I have to express here that the college faculty constantly changes due to which the flow of teaching gets disturbed. It is important for the college to understand that the students must have a permanent teacher. The college should retain some permanent teachers and provide them financial safety so they don't leave the college causing the harm in the process of learning of the students. The teachers that are present in the college are highly educated and have their Ph.D and doctorates in different subjects.

College has a bad placement percentage. It does not work hard to get renowned companies on the campus. The college has a placement rate of 10 to 15%. Only 55% of the students get internships. Mostly the teachers provide internships to the students who attend the college regularly.

I have heard that the infrastructure of the hostel is not up to the mark. The students at the hostel face lots of issue. Here, the canteen timings are very limited due to which the students have to go out of the college to get food. The doors of the hostel get closed by 7 in the evening.

The infrastructure at the college is quite up to the mark as it is fulfilling the requirements of the students. But it needs an upgrade as the buildings of the college were made during the British era. Atmosphere or vibe at the college is good. Labs should also be upgraded as per the fees charged from the students.

Campus life at Garware is good but the crowd is not up to the mark. A piece of advice from my side is that you should choose your peers wisely. You should choose the friends who help you flourish your personality. There are various engaging activities and clubs which are run by the college as well as by the students also.
