MES Abasaheb Garware College Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

The college is quite good. The faculties at the college are knowledgeable and helpful. Garware stands as the third best college for arts in Pune. I got the college at 88.00% in 12th. I Don't regret the decision of choosing AGC as my college. The campus is well and good . It has a huge ground with various sports and gym facilities available. This institute is situated on the Karve road which is really easy for commute. This place is recognised as one of the oldest education institute of Pune. It contains different buildings for each department and a large playground for sport related activities. It also has a large infrastructure and separate offices for each department. This college is well known for its history and art departments. This college has gained the status of autonomous college thus has more student centric syllabus.Read Full Review

Well from my experience all I can say is that if you can stand strict lectures do assignments timely and even attend the lectures which you don’t even understand than trust me there’s no better college than Abasaheb Garware College. We have a lot of good colleges around like the Modern College, BMCC, MMC, Symbiosis, and Fergusson College and we see students of those colleges having fun at E-Square, Dominos, CCD, and other happening areas of the city but we have no choice but to attend lectures. The faculties and the non-teaching staff are great but will never compromise on strictness. So, if you can be strict with yourself because in University of Pune, changing college in graduation is nearly impossible. Once you are in a college means you have to stuck with at all costs. The cut-off of Garware is not that high as outsiders can easily get admissions in BCA here with 75% or more in HSC exams. Well, the students here maybe average academically but one can’t escape the pressure that is put on at Garware College.Read Full Review
