The computer science department consists of well qualified teachers with Ph. D degrees in computer science and the teaching style is also good. Some teachers might not connect with students fully but the teaching style of them is really good. Well, BCA may not be one of the most sought-after courses but the faculties that the college brought were indeed the most sought-after ones. M. Tech, MCA and all the specialized degree holders were the faculties who made learning quite simple. BCA is as good as any IT specialized degree and the value of it is quite high. The course was under rated but the faculties were not. The faculties have achieved the heist with their teaching techniques. While I was in Junior College, I had a separate faculty member for each subject i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English and Marathi. All the faculty members have their education as per the UGC guidelines and are excellent at their respective subject. Once, I reached Senior College, I had further highly qualified professors, most of them with M.Phil and Ph.D level education. The college itself promotes and encourages its faculty members to pursue and complete their higher education, writing doctorate documents and other research papers. I was fortunate that 4 out of my 6 senior college professors had completed the Ph.D. and a few of them even obtained multiple patents as a result of their valuable research work.
