How Nirma is from inside

Overall Rating
As a 2nd year B.Tech student at Nirma University, I can say that my experience here has been very fulfilling. The University has strong reputation for engineering, and it lives up to it in many ways. From academics to campus life, there is a good balance that makes the experience enjoyable and enriching. Overall, Nirma is very good college from my perspective.
 

Academics Rating
The academics at Nirma University are pretty solid. The curriculum is well-structured, and they keep it updated to match industry trends. What I like the most is the focus on both theory and practical knowledge. The assignments and lab work can be challenging, but they help in understanding the concepts better. There is also a good mix of core subjects and electives, so you can explore different areas within your branch.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is quite good. Most of the professors are approachable and knowledgeable. They bring a lot of real-world experience, which makes the classes more interesting. They are supportive, especially if you are curious or struggling with a particular topic. That said, like in any collage, there are a few professors who might be a bit strict or less engaging, but overall, I have a positive experience.
 

Placement Rating
Placements at Nirma are one of the highlights. Although I have not gone through the placement process myself yet, from what I have heard from seniors, the opportunities are pretty good, especially for CS and IT branches. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, and L&T regularly visit the campus. The placement cell is quite active in bringing companies and preparing students for interviews.
 

Hostel Rating
Nirma University offers decent hostel facilities with clean and spacious rooms shared by two or three students. There are also six sharing dormitories available. The mess food is basic but hygienic. Hostels have good LAN support but we have to go to faculty and have to activate it. While the rules are strict. It is not easy to get hostel in Nirma for boys because there are shortage of hostels, there are only three hostels for boys H1, H2 and H3. I also live in hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Nirma has a really nice campus with good infrastructure. The labs are well-equipped, the libraries have a vast collection books, and the classrooms are modern with projectors and best quality of seating arrangements. The campus is also Wi-Fi enabled, which is super convenient. The sports facilities are currently in renovation mode, it will also become available soon to use. Gym and cricket ground is now ready to use.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at Nirma is lively and engaging. There are lots of clubs and societies to join, whether you are into tech, cultural activities, or sports. The college tests are a big deal here, with a lot of participation from students across all year. The overall vibe on campus is positive, and there is always something happening, which keeps the energy up.

  • Nirma University Ahmedabad's Fees and Scholarships

    We have a great faculty who are open to helping students at any point in time. I think future Law aspirants should definitely consider this university if what they want to do is something along the lines of Litigation and Judiciary. I chose the university since I only wanted to pursue B.Com.LL.B. I think the level of diversity in the university is interesting. I do not think that is something you can commonly find.     Integrated BBA-MBA is a 5 year program. It is a diverse course that is spread across span of 5 years, 3 years of BBA and 2 years of MBA. The program covers basics of Finance, HR, and Marketing Management in BBA that helps in understanding and developing interest in these domains.
