The campus is beautifully architected and is ranked 5 by Times in 2020 and 32 by India Today in 2020. It is located in the centre of the city, Kothrud. MIT WPU formed several partnerships with firms, industry professionals, and organisations throughout my stay here to provide us with live project experiences and hands-on experience. The admissions procedure consists of a combination of past academic performance and an entrance exam, followed by a group discussion and a personal interview.
Because of my significant interest in venturing out into the international market by starting my own firm, I chose to pursue a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a dual degree in Entrepreneurship and International Business. A minimum of 50% in 10+2 from a reputable institute was required to be eligible. I had to take MIT's entrance exam: UG-PET before enrolling in the course, which was followed by a personal interview and a group discussion. MIT WPU offered monthly workshops, competitions, and seminars during the three years of the degree to help me improve my abilities and make my resume more efficient. The college also hosts many festivals, such as Enthusia, Sports Fiesta, Sangeet Bharti, and others, that foster leadership skills, teamwork, and the ability to work in challenging situations. Your time here at MIT-WPU will be packed with assignments, exams, class tests, clubs; events which will help you develop your personality for the future and will prepare you for any situation. MIT-WPU follows a trimester pattern with credits and a proper grading system that enables a holistic academic approach. The course is also very helpful to enter the corporate environment. Scholarships are rewarded to meritorious students.
Every faculty member at MIT-WPU has years of experience in their specialization and has taught in the education industry. The teachers are dedicated and diligent, and they are very helpful and accommodating in any manner you want. The staff not only teaches college-mandated courses, but they also teach courses that are in high demand, using videos and interactive materials. Furthermore, the faculty prepares the curriculum in such a way that you are immediately employable after receiving your degree. Discipline is something to keep in mind at MIT-WPU. The professors place a high value on discipline and attendance, as well as participation in all activities at MIT-WPU.
The BBA (International Program) at MIT World Peace University is a three-year programme that includes mandatory internships and optional post-course placements. In the second year, we must do an internship for a set period of time in a variety of disciplines such as marketing, finance, human resources, and others that are relevant to the degree as part of the curriculum. Internship drives are performed, and small businesses, startups, and other corporations come to campus to do a pen-and-paper test, a personal interview, and a group discussion in order to recruit us as interns based on the company's needs. We must submit a full report and take the VIVA as part of the credit course after the internship is completed. Top recruiting firms such as Wipro, KPMG, Capegemini, Tries Vista, Tata Motors, and others come to hire freshers after three years of the course. My classmates got placed in top firms in 60-70 percent of the time. The highest package offered was INR 8,00,000 per year. Even now, when I speak with my classmates, they are really pleased with the placements they have received.
Within the campus, there are separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The hostel provides Wi-Fi, food, and other amenities; however each room does not have a washroom. People that pick the hostel option share a common washroom, which is extremely unhygienic. The hostels have an end-time beyond which the students cannot stay outside the campus. The hostels are adequate in general, with only triple-sharing rooms available. To be independent and explore options, I would recommend choosing an outside-of-campus hostel or a PG, or simply renting an apartment nearby with your friends or batch mates, which will be more comfortable and convenient.
The infrastructure and the way it is built is one of the most appealing parts of MIT-WPU. The campus is more than 100 acres in size and has a very nice, clean, and fresh atmosphere. There are numerous food options on and near campus. There are two canteens on the MIT WPU campus. The college features Computer Labs for courses like Tally, as well as Practical Labs. The college has well-equipped auditoriums for seminars and events that highlight the college's cultural aspects. MIT WPU has a large library and a distinct block dedicated to it. The books can be issued and returned with ease. Inside the campus, there are well-organized sports grounds and other facilities such as Table Tennis, Gymnasium, and many others. Smartboards are used in classrooms just like they are in any other classroom in India. There are garden spaces and lawns that provide a relaxing environment. Overall, the infrastructure is attractive and fits the bill for a college.
MIT - WPU has transformed me into a person with a better personality, better practical and analytical thinking, better decision-making, and better communication over the course of three years. Not only did I get a lot of exposure, but so did the other students at MIT-WPU. During our degree, we went on national and international study tours, which served as a bridge between us and the outside world, allowing us to better absorb knowledge. Internships provide us with a glimpse into the corporate world, allowing us to better grasp the path we want to take in the future. There are activities held at MIT-WPU on a regular basis, and being a member of the planning committee helped me improve leadership and teamwork abilities. MIT WPU also has a lot of clubs that you can be a part of. Sports and other extracurricular activities help to form a strong bond between academics and students on the ground. The campus life here is excellent and is one that you would want to live in your college years. I highly recommend studying at MIT World Peace University, if you get a chance to.

Pune has become a soft target for students seeking PG programs. From my UG batch, a dozen students came to Pune and after trying my best I got admission to one of the best colleges in Pune. I had to skip a year to prepare for the entrance and will still consider myself lucky that I got admission at MIT WPU. The college is autonomous and is also located in one of the best areas of Pune so all the needs were easily fulfilled. MIT WPU fees were certainly too high and had to take an education loan t...
