MIT-WPU Pune Fees & Admission Process

The institute is wonderful with huge campus and is well maintained. The factor that made me choose MIT-WPU is its advanced machines and latest technology computers. There is variety of courses available here in multiple domains.

The course chosen by me is Electronics and Communication Engineering. The eligibility criterion for this course is to have above 80 percentile in CET exam. The admission process is done on online platform, which is systematically maintained and is easy to use. There are mainly two exams: mid semester and end semester exam. I don't think the academics prepare us for real life challenges.

Compared to overall other colleges mit is highly expensive college in pune. There is no category reservation and everyone is been treated equally. I’m from ECE(AI-ML) the fees of my course is 3,15,000/- per year.

There are faculty members for each subject such as program and Problem Solving, Engineering Graphics, Engineering Physics, Linear and Differential Calculus. The faculty members are graduated from top universities. Their method of teaching includes PPTs, Group Discussions, etc. problem solving abilities of the faculty are average because sometimes they ignore your doubts and are unable to answer to your questions. They are interactive but some are not. My bonding with most of my faculty members is very good as they treat me really well and help me out even after post class.

Yes, there is placement cell in the college. Companies like Tata Technology, IBM Center of Excellence, NVIDIA, Wipro, PayTm, Amazon, Cognizant, etc. The average package is about 8 LPA. The highest package at this university is 51.36 LPA.

Yes, the college do offers residential facilities. There are almost about 500 rooms and number of students is approximately 2,000. Facilities such as water, nice surrounding, toilet, bedroom, and parking are provided. The mess food is good I love the taste of the mess. The hostel fee is Rs. 28,800 annually and Rs. 24,000 monthly. Hostel rules are you cannot go outside the college after 9 PM, No loudspeaker, No speaking on phone after 9 PM and no fights.

The campus's academics blocks and structure are perfectly organized. each classroom or lab room are well maintained. The campus size of MIT-WPU is 65 acres. The locality is good. The classroom has a capacity of minimum 60 students and maximum 120 students. Academics facilities like Library, Labs, Seminar Hall, Auditorium, Conference Hall, etc. are present. Canteen accepts only online payment, sports include both indoor and outdoor, medical facilities are present as the hospitals are also near the campus. Transport services are also available, strict security checking is done by which other college student cannot enter. Library is the favorite place as a part of my college infrastructure.

My overall campus life is very good. I personally love my college as I get to interact with many people and many events are organized in this college. The college crowd is about 20,000 students of first year students. There are many clubs such as adventure club, e-cell club, AI nexus club, nostalgia club, MITWPU stars club, etc. I am in E-cell club where my role is social media and marketing. These clubs helps me think on next level, improves public speaking, extrovert person, make more contact. Fest such as MAMA summit, ride event, great Indian startup challenge, etc. is also organized from time to time.
