Overall Rating
Babu Banarasi Das College of Dental Sciences come Under the Babu Banarasi Das University. Being under the maintenance of the same University, the examinations are conducted timely and hence, if the student has not been under some backlogs, the course ends in due time. The college also offers scholarships to the students.
 

Academics Rating
Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) is a course with time duration of four years plus one year mandatory internship. The college also offers externships, for which a student from a different university can apply by the end of their final year exams. The eligibility of the course is the NEET exam conducted by NBEMS. A student has to pass the cut-off limit and must have a score of 350+ to take admission in to the university for this course.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty pool of the university is one of a kind. The faculty is mostly MDS qualified with years of teaching experience. The college has managed to retain some of their founding professors of the course. Most of them have their academic qualifications traced to their KGMU. They are updated with the recent academic trends.
 

Placement Rating
The course really doesn't require placements. But the mandatory internship helps students acquire the recent trends in the industry and paddle up.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facility is up to mark. Separate hostel is allotted for first years to manage the ragging issue. Food is average. Wi-Fi and common areas are well built. Wardens are friendly.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The university is spread into 5 acres of area and divided into various academic blocks. It has 2 separate canteens, 5 girl’s hostels and 7 boy’s hostels. There's a free gym service, basketball court, tennis court and a state level cricket stadium. There are also various sport facilities to support them.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is busy. Managing theoretical studies along with practical studies get a bit burdensome. To manage that, college offers various fests throughout the year. The fresher men receive fresher parties from their immediate seniors and interns receive farewell from their immediate juniors. College has a winter fest of its own and a summer fest called Utkarsh with the university counterparts.
