My experiences at Dr DY Patil BioTechnology and Bioinformatics Institute

Overall Rating
My overall experience has been fantastic as a science student. The labs are well equipped and have updated machines with advanced technology. The crowd coming to this college is excellent and the professors are highly qualified. Pune weather makes it more scenic and beautiful hence making the campus life memorable for students.
 

Academics Rating
Entry requirements- minimum 60 % required in 12th boards (PCB), MHT-CET score is acceptable, and NEET score is considered. In-house entrance exam is also conducted by the institute. One can also apply through their website as they have seamless admission procedure which takes only a day.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculty members of the institute are highly skilled and knowledgeable at their field of interest and they hold nothing less than Ph.D and have fellowships in their field of interest. Also they have wide exposure to industrial requirements and also they have worked several years in the industrial set up hence they have good knowledge.
 

Placement Rating
Placement in this institution is based on your performance and capability to compete with your peers.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are girls, boys and co-ed hostels in the campus. They are well ventilated and well lit spaces. With option for triple sharing, double sharing and single rooms. You can also avail for AC if required (subject to charges). They also have a huge mess and the food served here is tastier than other hostels outside.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Modern infrastructure and modern amenities with great construction quality. They have a basketball court and also a ground. All classrooms are well equipped with smart boards and they are well ventilated. Total 10 floors are there and each floor is allotted to different departments. The campus has other colleges too hence they are interconnected from the inside of the building.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is great as people come from all over India. There are few students coming from out of India as well (NRI category). Hence the campus life is great in terms of networking and also many events and competitions are held inside the campus and other college also participates for this. This makes it very exciting and frivolous.

    I choose this Institute because I found it really good for the course I wanted to pursue. This Institute has every sort of labs required and the placements here are also quite good. Overall I loved it. Students here get ample practical exposure through the practical lab work that is undertaken by the students as per their curriculum.     As per me Dr. Dy Patil Institute is the best institute as I know. The environment is every happy and friendly. The enthusiasm of student and faculty is beyond next level. The way faculty provides an environment for student is best. They do help every single student in every aspect. The non teaching staff also support and help as they can. And the dean Miss.
