Overall Rating
The institute provides a comprehensive education in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics with a strong focus on research and innovation. The faculty is experienced and the infrastructure supports advanced scientific exploration. Students are benefitted from hands on labs, internships and industry connections. The campus offers a vibrant atmosphere with a wide range of extracurricular activities, fostering personal growth collaboration and a balanced academic-social life.
 

Academics Rating
The institute supports 4 different programs related to Biotechnology with the syllabus being approved by AICTE. The academic program also covers Aptitude Building and Mock Interview sessions along with various seminars related to Science and Technology in current market.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculty members are well versed with their respective subjects having a Ph.D degree in their respective specialties providing current market insights and promoting research culture in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. The supporting staff other than the faculty members such as Lab assistant and attendants is also really helpful during practicals. There is also Mentor-Mentee sessions once a week between student and his/her chosen faculty member to share and solve any kind of problem.

The students have residential hostel for only girls as of now with boys’ hostel being on the verge of completion of construction. Also the hostel has an activity room for recreational activities with 24 hour security and maintenance.

Students participate in cultural events, sports and student clubs creating a collaborative and vibrant environment. There is an university level sports and cultural fest called 'Urja', where students of all the institutes and colleges under the university can participate.

    As per me Dr. Dy Patil Institute is the best institute as I know. The environment is every happy and friendly. The enthusiasm of student and faculty is beyond next level. The way faculty provides an environment for student is best. They do help every single student in every aspect. The non teaching staff also support and help as they can. And the dean Miss.
