Doon Post Graduate College: All about my college

Overall Rating
I choose this college because the course fees of the college is affordable for middle class students and also there is a very easy process of taking admission in the college. If you are unable to pay fees monthly then you can pay the fees before semester exam. The overall experience is good and my elder brother is passed out from this college and now he is an Agriculture Field Officer. So these are the reasons due to which I choose this college.
 

Academics Rating
There are no specific requirements for admission in this college. You need to pay a semester fee of 35000 and 10500 registration fees at the time of admission. There is only one criterion which is, you must have passed higher secondary examination with 50% marks.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very sweet and polite. The teaching style of our faculty members is easily adaptable. They are student friendly. If you have doubt in any topic you can freely ask they and they also provide you proper notes and pdf. In the class faculty members use projector and touch screen TV to improve the effectiveness of their teaching.
 

Placement Rating
No, the college does not offer any placement opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are 4 hostels in the college. 2 for girls and 2 for boys. The Hostel is far better than the college infrastructure and its neat and clean. In the hostel you are provided meals 4 times a day and there is accessibility of badminton court, open field for cricket, volleyball, and football. Also in the hostel room one table, bed, chair, fan and light are provided for each student. A hotel fee is 78000 per year that is 6500 per month. Laundry facilities with additional charges are also available in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are so many buildings in this college and each department has different building. But building of agriculture department is bigger than any other building. A central library is available for the students. Total 6 blocks are available in this college which is divided by department wise.
 

Campus Rating
Every year annual function or annual fest is organised by the College management and some well known artists are invited for the performance. Fresher’s party is organised for welcoming the new students and farewell party is organised for the seniors. Every year annual sports are organised by the college to enhance the spirit of the students.
