A Sincere Review on IIIT, Kurnool

Overall Rating
Overall the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kurnool with specialization in Design and Manufacturing is worth joining because it has potential for lot of growth in upcoming years for sure. Year by year the cutoff ranks are also increasing. I recommend joining this institute.
 

Academics Rating
Academics is really good and worthy for the fees. The applicant must pass the cutoff for this institute of their respective category and Branch. This institute is of National importance and centrally funded so the upgrades are regular here. Information and technology are focused as it is an IIIT. AI and DS branches are also here.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very experienced but some are freshers who have studied from very good institutes like Indian Institute of technology Delhi, etc. Their teaching style and method is very good. Overall the faculties are nice and kind to students.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in the institute. Placements are really better than other institutes of state and IIITs.
 

Hostel Rating
Residential facilities are mandatory for students. Hostel life is really good. There are total of 3 hostel blocks for boys and 1 for girls.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is really good as the campus is new and developing is really fast. Academic blocks are nicely furnished. Library and laboratory are of top class. A clock tower is also there at the main gate entrance. The only con is the campus is situated in hilly terrain.
 

Campus Rating
Institute’s overall campus life is nice. The crowd, clubs, fests and sports are also good. There also is an indoor stadium for badminton, chess, table tennis, etc. Though the institute needs to work over developing the outdoor game facilities also.

    I feel good in IIITDM Kurnool. The main factor that made me choose this institute is that it is under control of central government. The others also come for come here for the same reason.     Well, the fee structure is quite affordable, and you can get scholarships in this institute. There has been considerable development from the past few years in this institute.     As I am from the neighboring state Telangana, I felt that this institute is near which was one of the reason to join this institute. Another reason was to pursue the field of my interest which is Computer Science and I got AI&DS branch.     I choose this Institute over other Institutes due to good environment (situated at top of a hill). They provide particular branches for Artificial intelligence and data science. These are specializations in Computer Science. I got 32,573 rank in JEE Mains. Currently I am studying in this Institute in Artificial intelligence and data science branch.
