A comprehensive review on IIIT, Kurnool

Overall Rating
First of all, the institute was newly constructed and the infrastructure was pretty good. Coming to academics, the faculty was well experienced. Students were also nice and well behaved.
 

Academics Rating
According to the academics there are four courses CSE, ECE, ME, and AIDS. M.Tech and Ph.D courses are also available in this institution. The students can take admission in this institute through JEE Mains exam and JOSAA counseling.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty was good in teaching and they were friendly while teaching and while asking doubts. The entire senior faculty has done Ph.D and M.Tech form IIT’s and NIT’s. There is a separate faculty for science block.
 

Placement Rating
Placement opportunities are offered to the students here with good packages.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 4 blocks for hostel SRK, Kalam, SVHR for boys and Kalpana Chawla hall of residence for girls.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure was pretty good but it is on the top of the hill. There are different blocks for CSE, ECE and ME. Classes for AIDS will be taken in the CSE block and the classes for the first year will be taken in the Science block and separate lab facility is also available in the science block. There is an indoor stadium for badminton and table tennis.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus was nice. There are different clubs in the institute like, e-sports, dancing, singing, painting, coding club and many more. There is an inter IIIT event and various other fests are also organised here. Those who are selected for the NSO can participate in the inter IIIT competitions.

    I feel good in IIITDM Kurnool. The main factor that made me choose this institute is that it is under control of central government. The others also come for come here for the same reason.     Well, the fee structure is quite affordable, and you can get scholarships in this institute. There has been considerable development from the past few years in this institute.     Overall the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kurnool with specialization in Design and Manufacturing is worth joining because it has potential for lot of growth in upcoming years for sure.     As I am from the neighboring state Telangana, I felt that this institute is near which was one of the reason to join this institute. Another reason was to pursue the field of my interest which is Computer Science and I got AI&DS branch.     Overall Rating
    I choose this Institute over other Institutes due to good environment (situated at top of a hill). They provide particular branches for Artificial intelligence and data science. These are specializations in Computer Science. I got 32,573 rank in JEE Mains. Currently I am studying in this Institute in Artificial intelligence and data science branch.
