Fee Structure and Scholarships at IIITDM Kurnool

I feel good in IIITDM Kurnool. The main factor that made me choose this institute is that it is under control of central government. The others also come for come here for the same reason. This institute allows seats for meritorious students only. I like this institute very much because there is a good encouragement for sports.

I had chosen B.Tech course in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. I am interested in working with computers and that interest made me to select this institute. The eligibility criteria totally depends on JEE Main’s result of that year. The cutoff for this institute is different for different category students. The admission process involves selection of institute through JOSAA counseling based on their rank and submission of some certificates to institute. Hera, there are is 2 exams for a semester, one is mid, and one is end sem. The subjects learnt here are very useful for real life applications.

Fee structure is Rs. 80,000 tuition fee per semester. Hostel, mess, and other fee is around Rs. 25,000. SC and ST category students have a benefit that is zero tuition fee for them. There are some scholarships available for students which includes both central and state scholarships.

The faculty members in IIITDM Kurnool are well qualified. They did PhDs in top institutes. There speaking skills are also very good. Some of the faculty members only use blackboards for example Math faculty only use blackboards. Others include teaching with PPTs. English faculty make us to create group discussions. The problem solving of the faculty members also very well. They will struck at some of problems but they tell solution in next class. The teacher student ratio is 1:20. I am very interactive with my programming faculty. I am supposed to learn more thing from him.

The placements are also good at our institute. To get a good placement, the skills of the student are very important. They should do an internship or a project before completion of fourth year. Flipkart and Infosys companies are visited to our institute. Average package is 11 LPA and highest package is 59 LPA.

Our institute provides residential facilities. There are total three blocks for boys and one block is for girls. The first year students allotted to one block and second & third year students are allotted second block, and final year students are allotted last block. There is only one block for all year girls. The mess food is good. They maintain hygiene well but taste is somewhat different. Hostel and mess fee is Rs. 15000. The hostel timings are 6 AM to 8 PM. I am staying in hostel. It is a very good choice to stay in hostel. We can interact with more people.

The interior of whole institute is very beautiful. The academic blocks are very clean. The structure of each block is also different. Our institute is constructed on hill. The institute constructed in 150 acres of land. The classrooms also big. The strength of one class is 75. There is a library, labs (according to department), and three seminar halls named as Krishna, Hundri, and Tungabhadra. The biggest seminar hall in IIITDM Kurnool is Krishna. There is a cafeteria. In that, all food items are available in veg and non-veg options. There are courts and grounds for different sports. There is a medical center named as Dhanavantri. The students cannot use transport. However, they can use bicycle. The favorite part is courts and grounds.

The campus life is too good. The crowd of my institute has around 1000 people including all year students including boys and girls. There are so many clubs in our institute. Those are dance, music, art, coding, drama, etc. I am a member of dance club. The institute conducts fests according to academic schedule. One of the major fest of our institute is Solasta. It is the most awaited fest for the students in our institute. It will conduct once in a year. After joining in this institute, I felt that my choice that I chosen in selection of institute is right
