The academics at St. Joseph's University, Bangalore are of good quality. Teachers are very encouraging and compassionate. The university is a good mixture of historic as well as modern infrastructure.

Core subjects are very well taught according to the syllabus. The General English classes are always fun as the knowledge is provided through modern techniques like debates, interactive sessions and initiating public communication & writing review about it. Open electives are online in which detail explanation is provided. You have CIA's for every exam. You can pass in exams just by scoring good internals or just by writing the exam. All you need to score is 35 out of 100 out of which 60 are of finals and 40 are internals.

Teachers are amazing in Humanities department. The teachers are understanding and supportive. They teach you well and are always available for any kind of help. If any student lacks attendance, they are kind enough to take extra classes for the goodness of your attendance.

Placements are not available for BA students.

Hostels are available in the campus. Though I have little to no information about the hostel facilities as I live with my parents.

Campus is amazing. There are four blocks in total. Some of blocks give old and vintage kind of vibe whereas the others have modern vibe to them. Science block is the oldest, it gives historical vibes. One of the blocks has a top class canteen as you can sit anywhere and have the best food. Stationery, the much needed place is also available in the campus. ‘Bleachers’ is very refreshing place to sit with friends and watch the match in the ground. Aquarium and garden provide amazing space for some peaceful time. The campus has the best library. It is open till 8 PM and is also open during holidays. It is the best place to be during exam time. E-library sometimes proves to be a life saver.

College life here is not that happening and interaction among students is very less.
