My life at BVCOE, New Delhi

Overall Rating
The college is decent. As I'm 2020 batch student, I didn't go to the college for 2 years. My classes and exams were online due to covid-19 and offline classes started from 5th semester. I chose BVCOE because it is among the top colleges of GGSIPU and the placement is also pretty decent here. There is no chaos of maintaining 75% attendance, so you get time to enhance and develop your skill set.
 

Academics Rating
I got admission in IT department of the college. For admissions in B.Tech, you have to appear in JEE Mains entrance exam and have to fill GGSIPU counseling form at their official site along with college and branch preferences. Then, there are 3 rounds where cutoffs of different GGSIPU colleges are released according to which, you got to enter this college. I chose this college because the transportation is easily available in that region.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers are generally qualified. Some teachers have also completed their Ph.D degree.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is decent. Highest package of my batch was 14 LPA. Average package is around 4-6 LPA. Some common recruiters are TCS, Accenture, Nagarro, ZS associates, Cognizant, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facility is only for girls. So the boys who are not from Delhi have to take PG outside the campus to live. A hostel fee is around 97k and mess is around 3k per year . They provide 3 meals a day with evening snacks.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 6 blocks in campus namely A, B, C, D, E and F for different branches. Library is pretty good with good Wi-Fi connectivity. Canteen of the college is its best part for me as it provides food at reasonable prices.
 

Campus Rating
There are different societies in BVCOE which you can join for extra curriculum activities. Several events, boot camps are organized regularly by different societies to keep the students busy. One annual fest is also organized by GGSIPU where all the students can come and enjoy.

    Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering is one of the best colleges considered under Indraprastha University. There are many courses which are affiliated with Indraprastha University such as B.Tech, BJMC, etc. Our college has divided its name according to the courses such as BJMC courses are considered in BVICAM and B.Tech is considered in BVCOE.     So, I am pursuing B.Tech in ECE branch from this college. I take admission in 2021 still not completed. My experience in this college is little bit good and bad both. If you are getting in this college for enjoying your college life, then I am saying it is good. First location is good when main gate and metro gate is so close no requirement for rickshaw.
