BVCOE New Delhi: Fees, Faculty, and Facilities

Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering is one of the best colleges considered under Indraprastha University. There are many courses which are affiliated with Indraprastha University such as B.Tech, BJMC, etc. Our college has divided its name according to the courses such as BJMC courses are considered in BVICAM and B.Tech is considered in BVCOE. The other courses such as BBA, BCA, LLB, BBA-LLB- these all come under Management building.

My course is B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology); I had enrolled for the same because I had a very keen interest in technology as my brother has also done the same. so looking him doing interesting technology work on laptop also made me develop interest and I finally decided to pursue the same. I had got admission in Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering through my JEE Mains exam rank, we need to fill choices of our suitable college with the suitable course on the IPU main website and according to your JEE score you are allotted the seat. The admission process is quite lengthy, quite stressful but at the same time we have to be careful so that we don't fill any wrong choice and we should be aware of the deadlines given according to the university otherwise the admission process maybe cancelled and then you can't apply back in IPU. Exams in B.Tech consists of 2 mid semester exams and 1 end semester exams, the first mid semester exams consists of 30 marks covering the first 2 units and the second mid semester exams consists of last 2 units again of 30 marks. these take place after 1.5 months of the admission when the syllabus is completed and end semester exams consists of 60 marks which covers all the 4 units. coming back into the line of technology, this college has really helped me to develop good skills, do research work and also helped me get into sports which was one of my main aim as I was truly passionate about my main sport- Badminton. Continuing sports with studies have been really helpful and refreshing at the same time, we can easily focus on studies as well.

The fees for B.Tech at Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering are Rs. 1,60,000 for a year and can be paid in 2 installments.

Faculty of our college is really amazing, they support us in every co- curricular activity if you are a studious student and can easily manage both extracurricular and studies side by side. The teachers also help students in any difficulty they face, by providing proper counseling sessions. We have whiteboard and projector installed for proper learning and teaching of students. The teachers here are very polite and humble and will surely support every student in their ups and downs.

The placement cell of our college includes companies such as TCS, IBM, Yamaha, EY, and many more. There are many rounds during this, as far as I know, the first round is the aptitude round, the second is the interview round, majorly students get cleared in the aptitude round but can't clear the interview round because they ask questions from all the 4 years journey of your B.Tech.

Only girl’s hostel is provided in our college, for boys there are apartments and some societies nearby which offer PG facilities.

Totally impressed by the infrastructure, it is the first college in IPU which has air conditioners in every class; I was too shocked to see this and was really happy when I got to know this. Canteen food is fresh, hygienic and really delicious. The medical room is well managed. My favorite thing in the college is the main canteen where all my friends sit and chit chat together, that time is one of the best times after classes.

Overall campus life is good; the crowd is also good and helpful. There are many societies in college which you can join according to your interest such as dance society, music society and many more; it is a compulsion to join one tech and one non- tech society because in 3rd year, marks are calculated on the basis of your performance in the society. Extracurricular activities start from 4pm, before this, classes take place till 3pm, annual fest of IPU takes place in February every year at Dwarka. My overall experience has been really good till now.
