My views on Krishnagar Government College, Nadia

Overall Rating
Krishnanagar Government College is one of the oldest colleges in India. Its faculties are really good as compared to others. I completed my B.Sc Hons. Degree from this college and my experience has been very unique. My Physics teachers were very helpful.
 

Academics Rating
There are limited courses in the college. Some of the important courses are Bengali, English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology, Botany, and Physiology. These all are Hons. Courses. You need 85% marks in higher secondary examination to take admission in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics Hons. Courses. M.A courses are in Geography and Bengali.
 

Faculty Rating
My college’s teachers are really very helpful. There are 6 faculty members in my department. The practical labs are well-lit. There is a separate computer room to conduct Programming classes.
 

Placement Rating
No, there are not enough placements in my college.
 

Hostel Rating
Residential facilities are not available in the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus was well-maintained. There are 6 buildings in the college. The streets of the campus are clean. There is also a canteen in the college. Free Wi-Fi connection is not available in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Yes, there are many events organised in the college like Fresher’s, Rabindra Jayanti, etc. Our department’s classes used to start at 11:00 am. There are two big playgrounds in my college; one of which is used to host fests. Overall, my college life was excellent.
