Overall Rating
I am a management student. I opted for Electronic and Communication Field. The college is good. What made me choose this college is its faculty and their lectures. My over all experience in this college is good. There are no extracurricular activities such as fest but, there are sports activities, I would rate it as 8/10.
 

Academics Rating
Coming to the academics, the staff and their lectures are very good. It was under VTU. The academic is good, if u can cope up with the flow. The teachers are very helpful. The entry requirements is having science background with a 75% marks in PCM.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is good. They give good notes. The teachers here are strict but their teaching style is good. There are PTM organised every semester of the academic year.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a Placement Cell in our college and depending on your CGPA and attendance, marks are given for placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is good. The rooms are good but the food is not up to the mark. I don't know much because I did not stay in hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
For now there are two blocks Civil and Academic block. The new building is under construction. The canteen is average. The college is under construction. It has a basket ball court and parking space.
 

Campus Rating
The crowd is good depending on your friends. Most of them are friendly. There are no clubs or fests, but, sports day is celebrated. I would rate it 6/10 due to construction.

    Sapthagiri College of Engineering is a good college. It has a bus stop right in front of college so there will be no transportation issues. The infrastructure of college was good but now due to construction it has been ruined completely. There are barely any fests conducted in the college. The experience is quite good in the college. Its environment is not that great, because the construction of new University is going on, but after it completes it will have a great environment, as this college is meant for the good teaching, so I had chosen this college.     I am a student at Sapthagiri College of Engineering Hesarghatta. I chose this college because it is in residential area, near to all the bus stops and hogging places.
