Established as Sapthagiri College of Engineering in 2001, Sapthagiri NPS University (SNPSU) was granted the status of ‘University’ in 2023 by UGC. This Private University started its operations under the aegis of Sri Sirnivasa Educational & Charitable Trust and it is approved by AICTE. It is also accredited by NAAC and certified by International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).

Admission Process
Sapthagiri NPS University admission process is completely online via its official website. After filling the application form, students need to appear for the interview round and then submit the necessary documents.
The seats in the courses of SNPSU Bangalore are filled on the basis of numerous criteria which includes marks obtained by the student in qualified exams / State or National level entrance test / Interview.
Reservation Criteria
40% of the Sapthagiri NPS University admission seats in some of the courses (including B.E / MBA / MCA) are filled by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Therefore, students applying through Government quota need to appear for the CET exam followed by an online counselling. In addition, the University fills the remaining seats on the basis of the score of JEE / KCET / COMEDK.

Documents Required
The University provides financial aid to the students through their scholarship programs which are offered under 2 categories i.e., academics and sports. In addition, there are certain eligibility conditions which need to be fulfilled in order to avail the scholarship. Moreover, interested students can apply for the available scholarship by filling the application form by visiting the admission office at the University.
Additionally, the received scholarship applications will be ranked on merit-basis and then qualified students will get the scholarship.
