Acharya Institute of Technology

The Institute has set up a Training & Placement Cell to provide training to the students in order to meet the industrial standards. Moreover, skill-enhancement training programs are organised by the cell, so that students are confident enough to secure high paying job offers through the Acharya Institute of Technology Placement drives.

Acharya Institute of Technology Campus has around 120 acres of land area and several world-class academic & non-academic amenities are present within it. In addition, smart classrooms are built by the Institute which are equipped with projectors, sound systems, audio-visual equipment, and other amenities.

In addition to this, multiple discussion rooms, board rooms, conference halls, and other facilities are available at the campus to organise educational & cultural events.

• Library: The Institute has built a 3-storey central library with a seating capacity of around 500 students. Moreover, a number of books, print journals, periodicals, e-books, and other academic materials are available in the library. Furthermore, students can access the online databases through the e-library.
  Additionally, several reading spaces, ICT-facilities, ‘Virtual Learning Resource lab’, and other facilities are provided to the students in the library.
• Laboratories: To ensure that students gain requisite technical skills, various computer labs are available at the Institute. In addition to this, numerous modern laboratories are present in the departments of Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical, etc to ensure students get requisite practical training in their respective field.

• Auditoriums: Several auditoriums are present across the campus namely, ‘Central Auditorium’, ‘Mechanical Auditorium’, and others with different accommodation capacity. These auditoriums are used to organise co-curricular activities, conferences, guest lectures, etc. for the students.
• Seminar Hall: There are a number of seminar halls inside the premises of Acharya Institute of Technology Bangalore with sufficient seating capacity and requisite amenities.
• Cafeteria: The Institute has set up multiple cafeterias across the campus which includes ‘Fusion Feast’, ‘Nescafe’, and others with indoor and outdoor seating arrangement. In addition, a food court is available to offer a diverse range of food & beverages options to the students.
• Hostels: Around 12 residences are built by the Institute to offer separate residential facility to boys & girls. Acharya Institute of Technology Hostels can accommodate nearly 1500 students in their single, twin, and triple sharing rooms. Students opting for hostel facilities get access to top-notch facilities like rooms with attached bathrooms, study table, chair, dining halls, etc.
• Sports: A 10,000-seater multipurpose stadium is available within the AIT Bangalore campus. In addition, more than 30 indoor & outdoor sports are present at the Institute with amenities like indoor sporting facility, Tennis Court, Volleyball Court, Basketball Courts, multi-purpose lawn, etc. A gymnasium is also available in the campus.
• Transportation: AIT Bangalore owns a number of buses to offer transport facility to the students with fixed pick and drop-off points.
• Medical Facilities: A ‘Nursing Care Unit’ and fully-equipped ‘Physiotherapy Clinic’ is present within the campus of Acharya Institute of Technology Bangalore to provide medical care to the students and other staff. The Institute provides ambulance services in case of any emergency cases. Moreover, they are in partnership with nearby hospitals.
