First of all Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli is the top tier college in Maharashtra. It is listed in top 3 Government Aided colleges in Maharashtra. After COEP, Pune and VJTI, Mumbai. Hostel facilities are provided by the college. Campus is spread over 90 acres. It has remarkable placement cell. It gives various opportunities for extracurricular activities and tech competitions. Faculties are supportive. Overall it is the best college one should prefer. It provides food facilities and suitable environment. Also, the expenses are pretty much lower for high class education as compared to other metro cities.

I have opted for Electronics course. Entry requirements include the CET score, as per my CET performance. I didn't get in IT, COMPS trade. The courses includes Digital Electronics, Embedded Systems, Programming Languages like Python, C, OOPS, Signals and Systems, Matlab, etc.

Faculties in our college are intelligent, highly supportive and experienced. Many of them are alumni’s of IIT and NIT. They have experience of around 20+ years. They encourage students for more practical based approach. Teachers encourage students to participate in various Tech competitions. The experimental learning helps student to understand the concepts well.

Yes, The placement cell is there. The placement cell is working remarkably well. Average package offered is about 9 LPA and highest package offered is about 62 LPA. The college offers internships worth around 1 L.P.A stipend in 3rd year and 2nd year only. There are many product based recruiters that offer attractive packages. The companies include Google, Amazon, Morgan Stanley, NVIDIA, CADENCE, etc. Enrolling in the electronics gives the flexibility to participate in both core and IT placement as I am interested in both electronics and programming. Also electronics student gets highest placement percentage.

I have not taken the hostel facility but the campus is spread over 90 acres and hostel is inside the campus.

Academic blocks are well constructed. All the facilities are given to the students like study rooms, mini CCF, Graphic Labs, etc. The college has different clubs for participation in tech competitions. The classrooms are well maintained. Digital learning’s are also provided by the institution. It has a well maintained library with RFID. There is huge parking space available for students and faculty.

There are many clubs starting from 1st year for tech, non tech, sports, various competitions hosted by IIT'S. Campus life is very good. The crowd is very helpful and supportive. The campus is very well maintained and has a healthier environment than other metro cities like Pune and Mumbai. Also cultural fest is organised every year. It includes many games, ART fest, Tech fest , sports, Hackathons, etc.
