VIT Student Experience

Overall Rating
I Don't know about others but my CET percentile was 90, so at this percentile for me VIT was best option. The main thing I like the most about this college is its Autonomous Status that makes Students focus on college curriculum but also on other skills Development activities.
 

Academics Rating
I am from EXTC Branch. To get in this Branch you have to Score above 90 percentile in MHT-CET Exam or you may take admission via JEE. If you are planning to take admission in CS or IT then you have to score above 96 in MHT-CET Exam. If you take CS or IT but your percentile is not allowing you then you may take EXTC or EXCS just like me. The work burden on you will be more as compared CS or IT Students because you are dealing with both Software and Core Subject.
 

Faculty Rating
The First year faculty and Core faculty members are supportive except few members. First year faculty have minimum teaching experience of 7 to 10 years and Core have minimum teaching experience of 15 years. One good thing that I liked about faculty members here is that they don't fail you in viva. If you are not prepared they will give you one more chance to prepare or chance to manage answers of 1 or 2 questions.
 

Placement Rating
Overall the placement of the College is good. Average package at VIT is 3.5 LPA. Placement Cell is working hard to bring more opportunities for students.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no Hostel. But if you a outstation student or live far away from the campus then you may take a flat on rent or PG near College or in Dadar.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of the College is fantastic. If you visit college website and see images you will know. All Classroom have AC, Smart boards and one special feature i.e. the lecture are recorded so that you can refer to it for revision or incase of you have doubt. You can clean the doubts at home.
 

Campus Rating
The overall Campus life is good. Many events happen in the campus. You can participate in events organised. If you are a Fresher the College arranges a Fresher Party for you. The Main event of the College is Verve. This event is of seven days where many shows and competitions are organised.

    Vidyalankar Institute of Technology is located in Wadala (E), Mumbai. It is considered top in Mumbai top 7 colleges through MHTCET. Currently, I am pursuing B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (EXTC). It is 4 years Degree. I got this institute through my MHTCET percentile in 2023. Till now I have a good experience in this institute. I have another option too, but I chose VIT over it because of its autonomy curriculum which makes more practical approach towards industry.     Hello, I am in second year of Engineering in Information Technology from Vidyalankar Institute of Technology. What made me chose this institute for engineering is its placement record and infrastructure. Institute provides great amenities and facilities. Labs are cleaned and maintained.     Just one word…‘FANTASTIC’. My one year at vidyalankar was fantastic in every aspect. This Institute has very supportive faculty who guides us at every point of time with every difficulty that we face. It has the best state of art infrastructure so far.
