Christ University Yeshwanthpur: Where Dreams Meet Passion

Overall Rating
Christ University Yeshwanthpur campus is situated at the northern part of Bengaluru at Nagasandra which offers education and also you will get chance to develop your character. It has a great campus with great infrastructure and also the turf canteen and peacock circle will surely draw your attention. Besides that, classrooms, library and computer labs are top notch. Students of Christ University also get free Wi-Fi service when they are in college.
 

Academics Rating
Christ University offers variety of courses for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs including Commerce, Science, Humanities and Management. So I am a student of MDS (Master of Data Science). So here for the MDS we have tri-semester system, it means there will be three semester in a year. Requirement to get entry is you have to secure more than 55% in your UG degree. The fees for this course are 2.16 lakh per year. You have to go through an interview process where basically there are three rounds.
 

Faculty Rating
The university is known for its well known and trained faculty. They are very helpful to the students and encourage the students to do better for the future. They are so organised and they have proper schedule for everything. All have done their Ph.D and are very skillful at their jobs and passion of teaching. They teach us through ppt and board as well.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, for every department they have a placement cell. Being only 2 years, in the first batch of MDS 85% students got a job on placements. Also the professors and the placement CEE are regularly in touch with the industrial people so they can help us in finding a new job.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are 2 hostels. One for boys and one for girls but no outside food is allowed into the campus. For the hostel students, college canteen is available all the time. They can go there and have food anytime. Also there is a basement under the canteen where hostel students gather together and study. But the only disadvantage is that the hostels are only allotted to the first year batches.
 

Infrastructure Rating
As I said earlier Yeshwanthpur campus is new so it has a modern touch in everything starting from the classrooms to computer lab to library and also equipment which are very top notch. Like other Christ Universities it also offers sports facilities for the student. There are total 3 blocks and 7 floors. For the first 2 week it was very confusing to find a room or teacher's cabin but after some days I got used to it.
 

Campus Rating
Christ University is known for its vibrant culture and also there are numerous clubs, societies and events for social engagement between students. Also students can develop their holistic characteristics through these clubs and societies. Also there are many extracurricular activities that are always going on in Christ University. It is good overall.
