If someone is looking for a good Agricultural University to study, this might be your best choice. This University has state of the art infrastructure with fairly modern looking campus and facilities. Another plus point is the cost of education and accommodation. Per semester fees is Rs. 8,880/- and mess fee is Rs. 2,600/-.

This University offers UG courses in disciplines of Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry. From 2023 in Natural farming and Fisheries too. There are numerous courses offered in PG and Ph.D. To get admission here you have to appear for CUET exam and get above 1200 rank, If you want agriculture course in UG. If you want your career in agricultural sciences, you will get a lot of exposure here as numerous fairs, conferences and National level consultations are organised.

Faculty here is very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. We have a large Diaspora of professors here from all over India. Professors and helpful and understanding with very good teaching style and experience. If you are JRF or SRF focused, then this University is best for you as Professors teaching here have completed their Ph.D. from various prestigious Institutions like IARI, NDRI, GBPUAT and various other renowned Institutions. Very knowledgeable professors teach here who are actually passionate in their subject.

Placement cell is not very well developed as it is fairly new University. Students pursuing UG from here are mainly focused to go for PG and other agricultural jobs. But internships are provided by many startups and companies here. It is up to the student whether he/she wants to get a job in that company / startup or want to pursue internship with Stipend Rs. 15000/- per month. The duration of internship is 2 months.

The hostel of our University has very good infrastructure and facilities. The hostels are equipped with CCTVs for surveillance, lifts as each hostel is 5 stories tall with each floor having 20 rooms for accommodation. There are two buildings for Boys namely Vivekananda hostel and 2 buildings for girls namely Manu hostel. These two hostels are separated by a walking distance of about 150m. Hostels have volleyball ground, badminton court, Table tennis, dedicated study area, Gymnasium as well as open gym. Rooms are fairly large in size for comfortable living.

The infrastructure can be considered as state of the art as far as infrastructure of agricultural universities goes. University has central HVAC system and smart classes. Facilities provided are very modern and by looking at it, you can't say that it is an agricultural University. University as well as hostels have great infrastructure for great academic experience.

Campus life here is fairly mundane. The University is situated about 10kms away from city Centre so, its location is negative. However, it is surrounded by IGFRI on one side and CAFRI on the other which is both great research institutions and many faculties from there come here to teach few courses. This University focuses more on academics than other activities. Several fests are organised here throughout the year to keep the vibe lively and youthful here. Many festivals are celebrated here since Diaspora here is from all over India. Overall, I'll say the campus life is good with few celebrations and festivities.
