RLBCAU Jhansi: All Aspects

Overall Rating
This university has the best faculty and has an outstanding infrastructure. The hostel and technological facilities provided are best. The farmlands for research and studies are vast and provide all necessary pre requisites for the betterment of farmers. The fests are not organised which might cause some boredom but other activities conducted by clubs add to fun. Other institutions might only focus more on studies but our university focuses on overall development of a student's personality.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen B.Sc (hons) Agriculture according to my rank in the ICAR exam in the year 2022. Now the exam is conducted by CUET. The students can enroll after counselling in the process. In one semester, 2 quizzes, 1 midterm and 1 end term is conducted which includes 100 marks of practical and 100 marks theory. I wanted to help farmers of our country to gain foothold in the society and help in structural development of economy of agricultural sector so I chose this course.
Semester wise, during registered we pay Rs. 8,880 as the tuition fee and Rs. 2,700 as electricity fee and this includes the hostel fees as well. The mess fee is Rs. 2,600 that is paid separately. Students who qualify through ICAR are given Rs. 3,000 per month as NTS scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is highly knowledgeable, most being PhD holders and even scientists. All the professors are amiable and always willing to help. They teach through smart boards, PPTs, books and try to clear all our doubts in separate doubt clearing sessions. The teacher student ratio is 1:4. They are very good educators and excellent human beings. They have knowledge on varied subjects and are available in the department for any clarification of doubts for student and farmers as well.
 

Placement Rating
As per present scenario, no placement is given after graduation but a new cell has been organised to help students get placed. Internship programs are held in 7th semester to give the students exposure.
 

Hostel Rating
College offers amazing hostel facilities. There are 3 hostels for girls and 3 for boys all equipped with every necessary items including coolers and balcony and elevators. The mess food is good and nutritious food and is provided 3 times a day with 2 times tea and coffee.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is an academic building, administrative building and other buildings for research in various fields. The total area is around 300 acres. The university has a central lab and labs for all courses, a large library, and a VR hall and a fully automatic computer lab. There is a medical unit, 3 buses for better transport, and sports complex including swimming pool. There are 2 temples in the campus and one canteen along with one departmental store for day-to-day needs.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, the campus provides a peaceful environment for studies and personal growth. There are various clubs for students to join and which organise various events. Annual fest is organised every year. I love being a part of this amazing university. My favorite part is the pond side where boating facilities are also provided. The campus has so much to offer.

This University has state of the art infrastructure with fairly modern looking campus and facilities. Another plus point is the cost of education and accommodation.     Overall Rating
    Jhansi Agriculture University is having good infrastructure. Very good facilities are provided in the hostel. As it is a central university the fee structure is comparatively very low of about 5 to 6k per semester. The college is adjoined with two prestigious ICAR research institutes CAFRI and IGFRI.
