Honest Review on K.C. Das Commerce College, Guwahati

Overall Rating
College does have free Wi-Fi but doesn’t have ample facility. Washrooms of upper floors are maintained but ground floor washrooms are not so good. The faculties are contractual teachers because of which you might end up changing your elective subject. Canteen is fine. Faculties are qualified and some of them are Ph.D holders. We have NCC on Sundays.
 

Academics Rating
If you have above 70-80% in your 12th, you are eligible to take admission in most of the courses offered by the College. The cut off for General Category students is high for B.Com and BBA but other courses always have seats.
 

Faculty Rating
Only some of the teachers are Ph.D holders in this college. Their teaching styles are not modern, and the classes are boring at times. The College has very less permanent faculty and most of them are hired on a contractual basis although they are good in teaching.
 

Placement Rating
The College does not facilitate Placements opportunities. At best they will give u a contractual lecturer job in their own college. They must improve their on-campus placement services.
 

Hostel Rating
There are no hostels. You can live in PGs and private hostels nearby.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the College is pretty old. The infrastructure includes a 4 storeyed C-shaped building and a parking lot in the middle for teachers and a canteen. Most of the college space is filled with students’ parking space. They do have solar panels and generators.
 

Campus Rating
A fest is conducted once a year that is organised by the students. Campus life and the crowd is average. There are a very few clubs.
