K.C. Das Commerce College is Situated in Chatribari, Guwahati, Assam

I joined this College to pursue my Bachelors’ degree and honestly, the teaching process and curriculum is very impressive. So many skills development programs are present here and many extra certificate courses are also available, which is really important and necessary as per our future job requirements. Overall, is it best for Commerce students as it provides all the necessary education and training to the students.

I want to make a career because field so I chose to do B.Com from the K.C. Das Commerce College. The eligibility criteria is simple, for general category students, 80 to 85 percentile is required, 75% is for OBC students and for SC & ST students, its start from 50% to 70%. The addmission process is completely online, you just have to pay the admission fee after filling the form & meeting the requirements. The most important thing is that the frequency of exam is good, there is minimum 1 test in every month. They also conduct online class tests, which are MCQ, based. Marks of online test are also added in final exam and in the end, it helps students to increase their CGPA. Also, there are weekly presentations, which help in developing communication skills.

The fee structure is also good & minimal. We have to pay in a year-wise pattern that means after every 2 semesters. I pay only Rs. 7000/- for 1-year which is affordable as per the quality of education.

Faculty members are also supportive and respectful. They are little strict about the studies. Most of the teachers use blackboards and smart board, which really helps because writing on board help us to remember quickly and understand properly. Most of the teacher have good problem solving abilities and helping nature. As we know, it is a well-known Commerce College so numbers of students is very high but that does mean teacher is less, it almost has 300+ teachers, which is a good number. Yes, my experience with the professors was good as they were really very nice and helpful.

The College also has its own placement department, which also provides internships to 5th semester students. After graduation, it provides placement offers to the interested and the deserving candidates.

Yes, it has an impressive infrastructure, as it is in the centre of Guwahati city (in the Chatribari area). It has a big campus area. The College has almost 450 classrooms and each one has capacity of nearly 130 students. Other amenities include 2 libraries, 2 computer labs, and have many conference halls. My favorite part is the library because it is very peaceful & has a good study environment.

Campus is overall good and has large parking areas. Yes, as there are large number of students in K.C. Das Commerce College. Sometimes it becomes very crowded but it is normal because I used to enjoy that crowd and it is actually a fun for me. The College also organised so many activities and functions for every festival. It also has a NCC department, so the College organises sports programs every year. My experience about the campus life is awesome.
