NMAMIT Faculty - students ratio is balanced

Overall Rating
I am currently pursuing electrical and electronics engineering. NMAMIT is one of the reputed college in Mangalore, it is an autonomous college. Faculty -students ratio is balanced , no shortage of lecturers . Most of the lecturers have their doctorates degrees . Teaching is also very good and help us to clear our doubts . Exam were conducted on time but due to the pandemic college has adjusted the date of exam for our convenience .
 

Academics Rating
I am doing my second year engineering in electrical and electronics. I joined this college through KCET. This course has many placements in the past years in this collage. The professors are amazing with what they teach us.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculty is Ph.D., M.Tech holders and some are pursuing Ph.D., The faculty members are really supportive and encouraging. They always have projects for us to work on and help us with and have well exposures’ to industries.
 

Placement Rating
The placements are improving rapidly and also we have had a 100% placement record in our department last year. We have placement training which is compulsory from second year where a team of trained lectures help.
 

Hostel Rating
There is a separate hostel for both boys and girls. one room is shared by 2 members. There are two types of mess in the dinner hall one is the south Indian mess and the other is the north Indian mess. The food is good and served with hygiene. There is an activity room in each hostel with games and TV.
 

Infrastructure Rating
When we enter the campus from the main gate there is about a 300m nice road which is covered with greenery on both the side, connects you to the college buildings, lots of parking space is available for both two-wheelers as well as four-wheelers, the buildings are also well maintained. Each department has its own building. There are canteens in the collage.
 

Campus Rating
There are many clubs in our college which encourages us in our interests like Elixir, robotics, photography, aura, author craft etc., annual fests are also conducted like Incredia. There is a separate garden where friends can hang around called Sanmathi which has its own café in the premises.
