Unique Learning Experience at Woxsen University, Hyderabad

Overall Rating
I wanted to study Technology for my higher studies and after doing all my research I chose this college. The kind of platforms and labs the university has built for making a Technology which can be alluring, one has no choice but to stand and admire. Many calls it that only the children capitalists can enter this college which in a way is true, but every penny spent here is worth it all.
 

Academics Rating
Academics here are different than almost all the universities. It has tie-ups with Ivy League Colleges and our syllabus is totally influenced by theirs. Student Exchange Program is conducted where almost every student gets an opportunity to go and experience the other universities’ curriculum with which Woxsen has tie-ups for a semester. For industrial visits, we are taken to counties like France and South Korea.
 

Faculty Rating
More than permanent faculties, we have guest faculties or experts from the industry are called upon. Each of the faculty member and mentors are unique. I don't know any other university where students are propelled for writing research papers, as we are motivated here.
 

Placement Rating
I don't know the exact numbers but over a hundred for sure. From multi nationals to nationals, every top Tech company visits here every year for placements. Rs. 16-18 LPA packages are no longer a far dream if you are graduating from Woxsen University.
 

Hostel Rating
The fees for the hostel are little high but one just have to look at the building and they will start applauding. There are four blocks of boys’ hostels and rooms are available on twin and triple sharing basis. The mess though is a common one and it serves average food. The best part of the hostel is its warden as in serious medical conditions; they allow us to bring food to the rooms.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The world-class infrastructure is a treat to the eyes. The campus is so big that even I haven't seen the entire campus and I am in my second year already. Latest Sports facilities are available here. 2 indoor Gymkhanas and are also there and we have access to them all night long. There are 2 Swimming Pools as well and the best part would be the classrooms as they are also inspired from the Ivy league colleges classrooms.
 

Campus Rating
Since September is just gone, September month at Woxsen is the sports month. Football league and other sports competitions similar to Olympics are held the entire September. Likewise, a list of events happens every month and for Ted Talk and guest lectures, notable personalities are invited every single month. From International Debate Competition to Grand Fests, there's nothing that Woxsen University doesn't have.
