My experience of studying B.Tech at Greater Noida Institute of Technology, Greater Noida

Overall Rating
My institute is one of the best as it gives good experience and exposure to the students. If I go by the motto which is ‘Groom the talent’, I will say students are made to work hard right from the beginning. Academics are extensive here as projects and research papers keep the students busy with studies.
 

Academics Rating
Academics as I have already said are too demanding here. Semesters are short here and in that too we have exams twice. Internals are monthly and every mark is counted. Hence, no choice but to be on your toes throughout. Apart from B.Tech our institute offers various other programs too.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are the most important factor of judging an institute and therefore some teachers who are recently hired are good. Some of the faculties who hold a long association with the institute are exceptional though.
 

Placement Rating
For CSE students, the Placements Cell works tirelessly. They have been able to draw major domestic and international IT Companies like Cognizant, Infosys and others. Placements for our branch are the best at GNIOT as average placements currently stands at 8-10 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 2 huge hostels. I don't stay at the hostels so can't say on the food and facilities provided at the hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 3 separate blocks at the campus and our department has one entire dedicated building. The campus is colossal, and it isn’t easy to accommodate nearly 5000 students under one roof. Our campus though is adept enough as we have multiple canteens, multiple student activities areas and numerous sporting facilities.
 

Campus Rating
Honestly, it is difficult to have a cake of campus life as attendance is so strict. Clubs and societies are there but to find time and have a good there is next to impossible for average students like me. Our Annual Fest Fusion is indeed a fusion of modern and contemporary acts. However, a great campus life is a farfetched dream for average students like us.

    My overall experience in this Institute is very good with faculty and all the faculty members are great here. The fees are decent and many certification courses are also available here. There is one thing that is different is the quality of education. There are also soft skills and aptitude course that help in getting jobs. Training classes are also held which teach advance coding.   • My take on the Infrastructure and Education at Greater Noida Institute of Technology

    Overall, the institute provides a friendly environment and infrastructure to the students. The teachers are familiar with the current technical trends and teach us accordingly. The professors always complete the syllabus on time and always help us throughout the subject. From first year students to the last year, all the students are provided training for aptitude and soft skills along with the aid in publishing research papers and mini projects in second and third year....     GNIOT’s engineering is quiet good, the placement scenario are also good like 60% to 70% students get placed here. Mass recruiter companies like TCS also visited the college and some students got placed in other reputed companies in off campus placements through GNIOT Alumni network.     G.N.I.O.T. is good in terms of academics, because the placement is quiet good about 70% of students get placed.
