My 1st Year at NSEC

Overall Rating
I am B.Tech 1st year student of ECE at NSEC. The college has well developed infrastructure with all educational amenities, also well trained and cooperative faculties. The college is strictly under CCTV surveillance to avoid ragging and anti ragging committee to deal problems of ragging. You are secure and free.
 

Academics Rating
The admission is through WBJEE and JEE Mains. My interest for circuits has brought me to this stream. There is a separate department for Electronics and telecommunication with microprocessor lab and digital electronics lab. There is a central library where you can borrow books and read comfortably.
 

Faculty Rating
There is a well trained faculty in all the streams. They clear all basic concepts and doubts of students. They guide us about professional skills and discipline ideas. They teach lessons with tricks to solve problems. The teachers are really good, supportive and most importantly very punctual.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell at NSEC, You have to face interviews of different companies and the training to appear them will be given by the college. They conduct interviews in a proper decorum.
 

Hostel Rating
This is the only drawback of the college that it doesn't have its hostel facilities. You have to accommodate yourselves in PGs.
 

Infrastructure Rating
It has well-constructed infrastructure with all educational amenities. The college has all kinds of emergency services available on time like medical, fire, etc. Proper labs for different departments with all equipment available. The central library has its own card through which books can be issued and renewed. Canteen food is well cooked and fresh and served within 10 minutes.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is excellent with good, cooperative and interactive seniors. It is well decorated, neat and clean. There is a well planted garden and fountain. You can relax yourself in the waiting room. There is a parents waiting hall.

    The college’s inner infrastructure is good; you will have all the necessary facilities available here. Many sports events are conducted.
