Great Exposure at NSEC Kolkata

Overall Rating
As per my experience at Netaji Subhash Engineering College Kolkata, I would say, it has been great. It has all the facilities that students require with a well-structured campus and a decent campus life with good exposure. One thing that I believe is exceptional about our College is its alumni network.
 

Academics Rating
The course which I am pursuing is Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering. There is no special motive for pursuing this particular branch. It has been allotted to me by the means of merit in WBJEE counseling. Entry requirements are that you have to pass the WBJEE exam with a good score and rank up to 40,000. Additionally, for pursuing my course at this College, students should have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The examination occurs on semester basis.
The total tuition fee of my course is Rs. 6,97,000/-. We can pay it semester-wise. Scholarship are available for students, Moreover, you can also go for student loan from your desired bank.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers which are teaching in my specified field are highly qualified and trained. Almost all of them come from high profile academic background. Most of them have done Ph.Ds and some of them have master’s degree in their specific field. The teachers taught us using by PPTs and blackboards most of the times. They train us for technological challenges and their problem solving abilities are quite fascinating. The teacher to student ratio is currently decent.
 

Placement Rating
There is an active training and placement cell in my College. It trains the students to become industry ready so that they can acquire jobs easily. Some renowned companies which visit TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and others. The placement package for my branch was the highest this year. It was 20 LPA. The median package was 6.5 LPA while the lowest was 3 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
No, my College does not offer residential facilities. Students can live in PG and flats available near College.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of NSEC Kolkata is average. But, the academic blocks of the College are assigned systematically which is something that I like the most about this College. Campus size is small since it is located in a densely populated area of Kolkata. Canteen and sports ground is available along with a centralised and well-maintained air conditioned library. There are many classrooms and there are zones where students can spend their leisure time. The College infrastructure also comprises an auditorium and conference halls.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is quite good. College crowd ranges between medium to large. There are several clubs which are responsible for hosting fests and sports competition. Currently I am not a part of any of them. Various engagement and extracurricular activities are also held every now and then. I had a great experience here, be it in terms of the faculty or the academic or the College life. I would highly recommend the College.

    Overall, the atmosphere and environment of college is great. Its vibe and facilities are student friendly. Teachers clear everyone's doubts without hesitation.     The college’s inner infrastructure is good; you will have all the necessary facilities available here. Many sports events are conducted. Faculty members are supportive and are always ready to solve our problems and guide us for the best. Overall, I am having good experience at NSEC.     At Netaji Subhash Engineering College, I am pursuing my Bachelor's In Technology. This college can be considered as a decent college, with decent placements. It is considered to be in top 5 private colleges in West Bengal. Here you will find many clubs from Coding, Gaming to Social Work Club.
